2022 Colorado Motorcycle Trip - to Baker City, Oregon

Жыл бұрынThis is day 2 of our 2022 Colorado Motorcycle Trip. Today we are leaving Yakima, Washington, and heading southeast to Baker City, Oregon. From Yakima, Washington we'll be riding on I-82, Hwy 12, Hwy 11, Hwy 204 across the Umatilla Naitonal Forest, Hwy 82, and Hwy 203 into Baker City, Oregon. We stayed at the Historic Geiser Grand Hotel in Baker City, Oregon.
We stopped at E.J. Haney Viewpoint on Hwy 203, and at the Geographic Center of the US on Hwy 203 in Pondosa, Oregon.

I ride a Triumph Tiger 800 XRx Low.

$5.69 for regular gas up there? Ouch! Great videos! I’ve looked at the 900GT Triumph, but never looked at the 800 when I was at the dealer. It looks like a great bike too. Love the scenery up that way!

@@bakingbiker hello!! I should not have implied that our trips were on motorcycles. Subaru Outback and a Forester. Looks like our annual trips to Sun Valley with RB might be over but we remain hopeful they will happen somehow. Maybe our paths will cross there again!

Just found your channel, and we're enjoying your rides. We were on 204 and stopped at the same view point you did, durning the first part of June. I tried googling the cafe to cafe you mentioned, and didn't find any information about it. Is there a link or information you could share? Thanks.

Thanks for sharing what looked like a lovely ride. How's the Triumph holding up? I"ve got a 2018 Tiger XRX-Low and just love how smooth the gear changes are. Kind regards from Australia

The Tiger is doing really well, and it already has over 21,000 miles. Yes, I have been very happy with it, the engine is so smooth and forgiving. Keep on riding!
