Oh my word you guys!!! (as Laura would say) I know this is your business - you have been very open about that, but this was over and beyond! Your generosity for others and the help you give us is unmatched! This may basically be about gardening but you and Aaron show us so much more! The way you raise your kids, the help and generosity to your family and friends are inspirational and teach us along the way so much more than gardening! but thanks for the gardening too!!!! LOVE IT!!

We got our first frost here in Minnesota last night. A local, award winning dahlia grower in our area, cut a nice selection of the dahlias he grows and brought them in to the flower shop where I work. They are for us to use and to sell to our customers. He didn't want them to go to waste and wanted to share the luxurious beauty with others in our area. One variety that I recognized right away, thanks to watching your videos, was 'Pooh'! My word... that dahlia is so beautiful and unique.🥰 I love that your video came out today so I can try to identify a few more. All of them are such an impressive flower!

Thankyou for taking the time to do this for us. I'm new to dahlias, grew a few from seed this year but the drought here in the UK took them early. I've no idea if they will come back but I too will be mulching heavily and crossing my fingers for a return next year!

For the viewers that really enjoyed the way Laura displayed her Dahlias on the table for you...I would encourage you to try & find where your local Dahlia Society may he having their shows right now. Dahlias are cut & staged to display on tables. After the 1st day of the judging, the 2nd (& sometimes 3rd day) are then open to the public for viewing. Each table is is set up per variety as well. So all of your Dinner Plates will be together, all Poms together, all Balls together, etc. So this will also help in not only identifying types/varieties but may help you in knowing & showing you what you are most drawn to. A lot of Society's also have a division to enter for Baskets & Floral Arrangements which can be quite stunning to see!! The world of Dahlias is so amazing (I am a 4th generation grower/shower - so have been in it my whole life) with so many colors, shapes & sizes. They vary from the huge Dinner Plates (some which can measure up to over a foot across) down to the Migons (a small daisy like flower that are only 1/2 to 1 inch in size).

I really appreciate the added information on tuber production. This was my first year growing flower for sale and dahlias are one thing I struggled with this year,( I always run out of room before it is time to plant them and they get in the ground a little late). The amount of knowledge I receive from your videos has helped me tremendously throughout the years. I look forward to every one and I just want to say, Thank you to not only you but Aaron also for putting these videos together so the rest of us can become as wonderful at gardening as you are.

So gorgeous! I believe the jagged petals are called “laminated”. My faves are Innocence, Brown Sugar, and the Cafes. ❤

Ah Laura, I couldn't help thinking as soon as I saw the table full of those beautiful Dahlias that THIS was what all the planning and dreaming for the cut flower shed was for. ♥️🪷🏵️🌸🌼♥️

Gorgeous dahlias, Laura! I so enjoyed this video! A giant thought came to me in one statement you made: you stated you take Ben and Samantha through the garden on the Gator every evening. You have said this before. It struck me, though this is simply what your family does every evening, the lasting impact this is making on your children, for the rest of their lives. I wonder whether it has hit you this way too. It will be one of their fondest childhood memories, I am certain! 🥰

Hapet Blue Eyes is my favorite! Just a beautifully constructed and colored bloom. Laura this was a genius idea to discuss the dahlia patch! Your recap of the planting, the ups and downs of the growing season, pros and cons of growing them in your zone, and, of course the watering was comprehensive. Then to move into the garden shed to the gloriousness that was sitting on that table, genius!

Laura, Thank you for the beautiful display of amazing blooms! I'm not sure which ones I would pick to dig. I can't believe all the work you have gone to in the past few years to over winter these tubers. Looking forward to see how these do for you this next winter. Hoping you have great results. Beautiful dahlias! Another inspiring video! Thanks for all you do to bring us such beauty!

I love the yellow dahlias that Laura has - Polventon, Kelvin Floodlight, La Luna, Cabana Banana all remind me of shaved butter! Oh my, the Hapet Blue Eyes. I am excited to see if the dahlia patch will overwinter well because I am in a zone 6b. This was a very informative video - well, all her videos are informative! Thank you for the condensed tour, Laura.

It's amazing how one species of flowers can have so many varieties. I absolutely loved them all. However, I think it was that Innocent one that I did the little gasp on. Just GORGEOUS. Loved how you had them all set up. Well Done. Enjoy your day. xo
