I don’t think your car has bluecruise. U need to opt for the tech/comfort package on the select to get it then you get a camera that tracks your eyes for hands free driving

I mean, it tells you it will be 100% by 11:00pm. I’m not a huge EV guy, but I do like the look of this thing. I travel a lot from NJ to VA and NJ to Maine, so it’s just not practical. But if I was just driving around NJ I’d probably be fairly happy with it. Cool looking AWD. That gas was expensive $4.20 plus… damn. Build Back Better lol

They finally added the ability to see how many kW you are pulling through the app, and 2024 models are suppose to have it on the screen. I guess all that is TBD. Now that they can access Tesla superchargers id say traveling is much easier.

If it makes you feel better call the start button the activation button. Also refer to the gas pedal as the accelerator. Mind over matter. If you don't mind it dosen't matter. It sounds like you borrowed a nice Mock-E. Tesla is simply a different ride so enjoy both for what they are.

The heads up guage tells you what to do to keep it in neutral. You go through the car wash, put it in Neutral, then you hit the "L" button and that'll keep it in Neutral for 30 mins.

This is kind of silly as you dont always drive your own car through and people wont know this. Why cant neutral just be neutral?

@@coreyburke3493 I agree it is dumb, neutral should just be that, neutral and not have to do all these extra steps to keep it in neutral and for only 30 minutes. But hey, I’m the only one who drives my car, so I’m good in that aspect of things.

I don't know for the US, but in Canada, the Model Y is very expensive and not eligible for any federal (5000$) and provincial (7000$ in Quebec and 3000$ in BC) rebate. On top of that, it starts at 84000$ for the Long Range and the Standard Range is no longer available. The Mach E Select with Premium package (cause we need that for the heated front seat) and delivery fees comes to 58000$ before taxes and before the 12000$ rebate we get in Quebec. Off course other top trim of the Mach E get really expensive and are not elegible for any rebate. Great video !

Yeah, Cost was a big factor as to why i chose to compare it to the Model 3 instead. Interior size is very comparable to a 3 as well. the Y feels much bigger.

The tesla model Y is $20k more even at 2023 prices so while they are competitors that's a huge price difference between the base Y and the Mach E you can get a Premium Mach E with extended range battery and AWD as im writing this for the same price as the Y

Should really compare to the Model Y not the Model 3. Also Musk has said they will be opening the Supercharging to other makes soon.

Well, I do have a model y, but for the price point model y Is higher. There’s a lot more room in my Y than the Mach E, but that to me makes them different cars entirely. Hopefully they do! Things will defiantly be easier once the superchargers are open to everyone.

Interior room was more comparable to a 3 than a Y. Y has a lot more room inside.
