Follow along with the build as we take you through the process of installing the 27WON downpipe. Shoutout to the team at 27WON for providing customers with a great experience all around, from the start they provided great customer service answering any questions I had regarding the product, the product had good quality packaging keeping the downpipe safe while in transit, the install couldn't of been easier with the provided hardware, instructions and perfect fitment! The downpipe had great fitment to the turbo and frontpipe, everything lined up perfectly as well as the downpipe mounting brackets and OEM heat shields. Just installed their RMM; the quality and fitment are perfect. Driving experience is definitely improved as I feel much more connected to the car. Definitely getting the DP when I've got the extra cash. Looking forward to your build and love your videos!

@@MitchMc91 agree 100%; even the RMM has its own fancy little box. You definitely get your money's worth in quality, aesthetics and customer service. I went with the 70a street as I was a little apprehensive about the NVH of the 90 since this is my daily and I consistently have passengers, but it really isn't bad at all. A bit of vibration in low rpms but under acceleration it feels pretty smooth and makes the car feel more responsive overall. Curious to see your opinion on the 90!

Got the RMM too! It was really loud at idle for the first few months before it settled in Vibration at low RPMs are gone now. But wondering if that was the same experience you guys had

Can you run this down pipe with out a tune? Does it throw a check engine light with no tune?

hell yeah i like the pics you put in for the bolt locations and stuff im glad you didn't do the normal video in fast forward the video was very detailed and easy to understand cant wait to see this build 😁

Hey thanks man, I appreciate that. I didn’t really plan on doing an actual install video originally, just figured why not as a last minute decision before starting the install. If this helps anyone at all I consider it a success!

Thus question is more for anyone here, should I expect a Check Engine Light if I was to replace all OEM parts to Aftermarket Great Quality Parts? It would bum me to see that on the Dash.

Without a tuning solution you’ll get a cel with a downpipe, PRL might not have a cel but it’s still a possibility without a tuner

I haven’t with the stock mount, I think I actually noticed some once I put in the 90a mount which is too stiff for a daily, I had track intentions which is why I went that route

Tuning solution is needed for downpipe, PRL downpipe you may be able to get by but it’s still a possibility

@@tengchia7779 I installed mine without new gaskets and no brackets for now I may put the brackets on one of these days but i grabbed the fitting between the downpipe and frontpipe and there was no wiggle and no leaks I love it

Any reason you picked 27won over PRL?

I ran the PRL turbo kit on my 10thgen and all their supporting mods but really both companies offer the top products for the 10th and 11thgen platforms. This time I had a few conversations with 27won over the past month and they answered any questions I had regarding their products, customer service was top notch so I figured I’d switch it up on this platform and give them a shot

I’m curious as to why the PRL dp is so much more expensive. 27Won definitely does their research and makes quality products. So it would be hard for me to justify the extra cost of the PRL.

@@jonwal they use a gesi cat which is why it’s so much more but 27won’s downpipe is a great quality piece… it’s on par with PRL in my experience after using both

@@jonwal Probably due to PRL trying to get their downpipe EPA approved. Also they claim no tune is required
