@@KiiDMaGiiKim 1 year late but i also got a brand new civic 2024. I hope this helps to make a decision to you lol In my case i got a civic sport sedan in meteorite gray color Things that i like: its very comfortable, fun to drive, you can change between sport mode, econ, normal and just have a fun drive, in my opinion it feels smoother to drive than the corolla. Infoentertainement is way better than the corolla, feels more premium also. I think both makes are at the same level in terms of reliability. Its very good in fuel economy specially if you have econ mode on, the sport trim comes with leather steeringwheel, and that good looking sport rims Things that i dont like: i thought the base model would come with blind spot monitors and parking sensors but it doesnt, for the price and with a new generation, 2024 car i thought that would be incluided on the base model or at least on the sport base but no, but also the corolla LE doesnt come with these either so.. The car on exterior looks more mature, maybe some people dont like it, actually if someone that doesnt know that much of cars compare to previous gen civic with this new one he/she will think the old gen is the new one If you dont care about the parking sensors and blind spot monitor then get the sport version, is way better than the LX and its just 30$ more per month

And if MPG is close enough, then I prefer the slightly larger engine. Either way, I don’t think you can go wrong with either option. But I would definitely take a look at the new Elantra. CVT kill's the spirit of the Civic. Tthis car reputation was build on fun, dynamic, and personality. This desigh is nothing but a smaller Accord, witch has not won any price either. The usual buyers of Civic were young, esrly 20's, ...Now they're targeting baby boomers who don't have anough money to buy Accord. Reability is still there, thank god. Dynamic's, they've lost it completely. And it's not a cvt (snowmobile transmission) that will fix it. And if you want fuel economy, go to electric.Of course there is the Si and the type R, but those two total no more than 5% total of there sails. Look, that's just my opinion... I have alot of my friends, who had Civic's in the past, some more than 3 from different generation, and they all agree that it's not a civic but just a smaller Accord...

I bought a '21 Apex earlier this year. For several reasons, including the wildly harsh ride, I ended up taking it back. If the suspension was softer the Apex would make for a great daily. Sharp car, especially with the LED DRL package. Exhaust sounded great for a 4cyl (not quite as good as Yuri's Fiat, of course!) and wasn't too intrusive. If the suspension was about 20% stiffer than an SE instead of 300% I'd probably still be driving it.

“Classy” “sportier” “aggressive” … words reviewers use for cars that no buys for those reasons. “Affordability” “economical” “practical” “easy to park” “daily driver” are reasons real people buy compact cars. The Corolla SE (or hybrid) with openPilot 2.0 is the best deal on the planet right now.

Idk if that’s fair. It’s a “why not both?” sort of thing. Most of the cars in this segment are all of those things you mentioned so what sometimes actually tips the scale is subtle difference in looks, power, and interior quality. And most reviews I watch definitely cover the stuff you mentioned. That said I do hate that most reviews involve the top trims. Those aren’t what most people buy so I wish more top reviewers would compare the trims that respectively sell the most, Such as the Corolla SE vs the Civic Sport or Elantra SEL.
