It’s insane how much hard time I had trying to do this 😮‍💨🤦🏻‍♀️ it kept asking me for Samsung account,but I didn’t have access to any of the email or phone number linked to that account, and then by miracle I saw your video! THANK YOUU SO muCH!

I think it's working...can take up to 5 minutes to complete 🚴 sometimes 5 minutes takes a bit...and BAM! She worked! Thank you kind sir - I long for the old rotary phones,I really do.

I just spent 2 days, successfully transfering all the pics, vids, contancts and apps, and logging in etc etc...wth my new phone..from the old phone...and then, used this to WIPE all the data and factory reset my old phone .........until i just realized...I I JUST RESET MY NEW PHONE AND ALL THE DATA I JUST PUT ON IT .................... I just wiped everything!!!!! I'm crying...

thanks. Will backing up and deleting everything affect my new samsung where I did smart switch? Like will it erace some of my apps or accounts because I am on wifi and it is synced?

I do not have a backup or cloud back up option on the samsung android I am using, I also don't have a sofware update option. I have been told the phone is not a dud by having the Status, Legal information, etc. So I am at a loss and to what I should do with the phone, I just might bin it....

Whenever there is a major OS OTA firmware, I still like going into boot recovery and wipe the partition data a few times then perform a factory reset

how do u factory reset with the phone off? I'm trying to use the normal vol down, bixby and power buttons as i have a samsung 8 plus. whenever i do this i get a warning screen and it doesn't let me reset

Power button + vol up till u see the factory reset menu and navigate with vol keys and select with power button
