I’ve got a 2019 2025R. Cut grass, push snow, core aerate, fertilize,drag firewood logs, best money I’ve ever spent…..

The 2025R is my favorite Deere Subcompact. Great video ! I think there is actually 3 tire choices unless something changed very recently. R4 R3 bias ply and R3 Hybrid turf radial. The turf radial is Galaxy Garden pro. Just in case anyone is confused the 2025R shares its engine and has a stretched version of the 1025Rs frame, Which is why it uses the same loader as the 1025R . The frame is stretched to allow for those bigger tires and still accommodate a mid mount mower. Deere brochure actually calls the 2025R a sub compact. The 2025R a totally different tractor then the large frame 2032/38R . IN my opinion the 2025R is the best subcompact tractor on the market today.

Thanks for the video. I've had my 2025R now for 4 weeks. Yep, I know the Kubota is cheaper. But here in Hawai'i on Big Island, the wait time on a Kubota B series is over 18 months IF they can get it at all. So I couldn't really do that. No one sells the blue tractors on the island, and the Red stuff is not well managed by the one dealer here. So Pepe Machinery it was. I ordered it on a Monday and they had the 2025R and 1025R in stock. I went with the 2025R mostly for the larger tires/wheels and the heavier weight as my farm has several steep hills. After using it around the farm, the drive over deck (I went with the 60" ride over) is mostly only good for lawns. Cutting fields, especially here at 2700 feet, is a lost cause, the tractor simply cannot provide enough power to cut it with the deck. I'm still waiting for a RC2060 to fix that issue. I've been able to fix the road, fix some of the over growth in the front yard, and cut back a lot of the crap on the side yards. Maybe if Kubota had some way of getting the BX on Island in a reasonable timeframe I would have done something different, but Hawai'i brings a whole other level of difficulty to the tractor world. All in all I am quite happy with it. I've put almost 12 hours on it thus far and will put more on it once the wet ground dries a little more.

Been looking hard at a used 2014 model 2025r 135 hr. Looks to be in EC other then hood is dented it has loader and mower deck. Asking 16250.00. I like the bigger tires on it versus the used 1025r I am also looking at also EC low hrs well maintained asking 16K. Really liked your video here on it . The 1025r will do all I need to do here, but for nearly same $$ seems I would be getting lot more tractor for the money. Appreciate any advice you on it. Thanks!

I enjoy your reviews! I have a 6.3-acre farm. About 4 acres is pasture / yard. I am slowly replacing fencing via a post hole digger. Thus, I am considering either a 1025r or 2025r for cutting / auger. Where I am concerned is if the 1025r can utilize an augur properly due to its smaller size. Any suggestions you can provide would be appreciated.

I bought the 2022 1025R and looking back they appear identical other then a bit of a larger size in the 2 series, I wish I would’ve bought the 2 series just for the size increase

I'm considering this tractor for my first tractor. I have a gravel road and driveway I need to maintain and would be using this for spreading gravel after winter and plowing snow. Would someone comment on the durability of this tractor?

I wanted to get one but when they put the same loader on it that i have on my 1023e i said forget it. Older 2025 models were alot more tractor. Off to kubota i go.

Stick with the 2025R. I had a 2032R and it had more power than metal. It would bend itself way too easily. Just my experience. “Actual mileage may differ!”
