I purchased my 2022 seltos last week and so far I’m in love. And that says a lot, I traded in my beloved 2015 Audi A4. Fingers crossed I continue to love it!

Just bought the 2022 S model and like it a lot. But it is also making me appreciate my Equinox because of all the storage areas on the inside. There a not enough storage areas in the Seltos and the ones there are so small. Decided to keep the Equinox also for now.

I never understood why manufacturers made blind spot monitoring and cross traffic alert optional or only on higher trimmed models.

We picked up our Kia Seltos AWD Turbo 2022 just before Christmas 2 months ago. We were very happy with it until the first snowstorm came last month (January ). It was really terrible. We couldn’t even leave from our driveway. The car couldn’t handle a bit of snow on the ground. We already have locked the Diff. but for less than a minute we can smell the clutch burning. So we quickly went back to the garage. Then last week another snowstorm, on the way back home, the car sliding like it’s not like a 4 wheel drive car should be. ( we were driving very slow) It’s actually dangerous. We used to have a Kia Sportage for the last 5 years, it was really good have no problem at all. Once there is snow we press the button to lock the Diff and drive really well. We didn’t need to have snow tire. But this brand new Seltos……Very disappointed. We went to talk to the service manager in the Kia dealership And his response is even worse. He said he can’t change the design the way the car is built. He didn’t even offer to check it out for us. I think it’s something wrong. It’s a brand new car !!! If you are thinking about buying this car, think again. Unless you are living in hot climate. We are extremely disappointed with this car. I wonder if anyone has this same problem.

Bought my 2021 Kia Seltos EX in the same color. Still love the SUV, though the CVT transmission is a bit jerky at times.

I just wish it had a panoramic sunroof or even a power lift gate just to make it feel a little more luxurious

Looking to get one of these for my wife. Her car is only for her to drive to work and back and run errands around town when I'm not there. Any traveling or any time I'm going we take my car. I think the S should be plenty good enough for that.

I picked up my 2022 Seltos S today! Mine is yellow with a black roof. Definitely an upgrade from my 2010 VW Routan!

Thanks for the review. I have had a 2021 since the end of Feb. 2020, and love it. Just had it to the dealership for the engine recall check, and was told all was fine. Apparently, they do some kind of test on the pistons to see if they are the ones that may fail. Time will tell, but for size and functionality, I find this to be the perfect car, and better than any in its class. Not sure why so many want keyless start and a panoramic sunroof. My wife has a suby with keyless start, and I find it a pain to keep track of who has the fob. And we had a car with a panoramic sunroof, but often found the light coming through so annoying that we just kept the cover on it shut the majority of time - plus, you lose headroom. To each his own, but if I was in the market for a small SUV, I think you'd be wise to look at the Seltos.

My wife has the '21 Seltos EX. For the price we paid it has a ton of features and is a nice ride. It is a great car...the 2.0 ltr is OK...but I wish we would've sprung for the 1.6 Turbo. That Turbo model with the DCT blew by me one day from a stop light and I was quite surprised!!

I have the 2021 Seltos SX Turbo, I have have it for 8 months and 11,000 miles, it’s been great! I love it. Small gripe would be I wish the DCT was a bit smoother but you get used to it. Otherwise, fantastic car.

How come they don’t all come with the ability to put a cargo cover in the back?

It would have been nice to have a storage slotted/ledge/tray on the dash for the front passenger. Change cuby on the drivers side of the dash.

Thinking of maybe picking this up after a few years on the used market. I love my 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT but it still has many more miles ahead.

Just took delivery of a 22 Seltos S fwd, love it. Do wish it had blind spot monitor.

They are great looking cars but they have problems. 1. The headlights and fog lights. There's no excuse for not having LED for both now. 2. On higher trim levels, you get and engine and transmission that has been plagued with problems. 3. Unless they have changed the suspension, it's also a bit of a rough ride. You will feel every crack on rough pavement. If Kia corrected those issues, they'd probably wipe out the competition.

The Seltos is at top of my list to replace 2015 Camry. Hoping we get good news on 2022 engine build dates on the corp use of the Hyundai/KIA Nu 2.0L engine in Seltos and other models related to the recall. Another great review. Thanks.

They sell same name car in India with Global NCAP rating of 3 Star where as in other countries they sell the same Seltos which has GNCAP of 5 Star rating. I wonder why such big automobile company has double standard when selling their product here in India.

So may customers are compling about cabin noice on highway and I also experience the same when I did my test drive today with Seltos LX. Can you please give me your review/explanation about my question? Did you feel the noice is common issue or due to wheels?

I thought the SX and Nightfall trim levels get 175hp and 195lb-ft. of torque. I mention this because I heard Drew say 195hp. Anyhow, will you all ever do a behind the scenes of how your review videos are made? I think that would be cool. HATE when car companies do this. You put your faith in a company and buy year 1 of a new car and then you get burned when next year's model is visually distinct and has more standard features.
