Schmutzler was a huge story this year, 16 years old who won Dev Tour Worlds spot sensational on his first PDC weekend. Weird how you didn't hear this, was all over the darts world lol

Soutar will demolish Portela, and he might even defeat Mensur. Mark my words :D Searle will go far too, no way he is getting beat by Bradley Brooks or Willie Borland, just no chance at all.

Having seen Shibata's recent matches, I wouldn't be so quick to play him out against Lewy Williams. I believe Shibata could very well be a surprise high-placement this year if he can keep up his recent performance.

Where'd you see him play? Any records of the matches anywhere? Couldn't find much on him and his darts.

@@NathanGamed DARTS YOU CHANNEL ダーツユーチャンネル published some of the highlights of his matches, and the full final match in which he got the PDC World qualification. He averaged 95,4 in that match and hit 7/9 (78%) of his doubles that match. From written reporting I could find he averaged roughly 91 over his matches in the qualifyer, with an overall check-out rate of *70%* It's entirely possible he'll flop under the pressure or that he'll just not play that well, but if he can maintain what he pulled off during the qualifyers, he's got a solid shot at winning against Lewy Williams, and maybe even to become a bit of a dark horse competitor.

I think it'll come down to price and wright and Wright will win. However I'd rather see MVG win it. 🏆

Just my opinion but it is Peter’s to lose. Everyone knows that at times he struggles and comes up short. I know this much though,when he is on his A game it’s above everyone else’s!
