The 2022 Polaris RZR Pro R took the side by side world by storm with its industry-first 2.0 liter four cylinder engine, producing a whopping 225 horsepower. Along with this stout new powerplant, comes the strongest RZR chassis yet, fully boxed MaxLink suspension, and upgraded clutching components to make the Pro R more than capable of taking on the harshest terrain.
We were lucky enough to put Polaris's completely new side by side through it's paces in the beautiful and rugged Moab, Utah to really get a feel for everything this machine has to offer. After some serious testing of this innovative side by side, Eric goes over all the new changes and gives his first impressions ride review of the 2022 Polaris RZR Pro R 4.

How many people can really afford one of these, and is it really 13k better than an x3 max xrs? I have a hard time believing it is. If the supply shortages ever get figured out it'll be interesting to see if the market truly supports a 45k side x side

@rockymountainatvmc If a person could find a lightly used two door rzr turbo s with dynamix in excellent shape for a good price would you recommend buying the turbo s and saving a lot of money , or is it worth it to save for a rzr turbo r or rzr pro r over a rzr turbo S?

Both machines are great! This Pro R is burly and a riot to drive, but I have had some great times in the Turbo S. It all comes down to what the best machine is for you. I think the most important thing is to get out there and and enjoy the outdoors! I just re-watched a couple minutes of this and it has me wanting to get back to Moab!

Got the wife onboard but unfortunately Polaris Germany suck and have difficulty supplying trusted dealerships with these models… hope that ends soon or have we missed that Polaris US have put an export embargo in place which will result in me having to now convince the wife to move to the US….

I love the concept of the Pro R, but the execution was so bad. Price is way to high and it's obvious that it still has the typical polaris quality control issues.You'd think for 50k they'd raise their quality.

My pro r completely fell apart with less than 200 miles on it. One minute we were driving at 30 mph on a flat dirt road, the next we were stopped with a sheared main frame and broken ball joints around $17k in repairs. Very disappointed in polaris.

I honestly feel like this machine is “too much” it’s too big too heavy and too much money. I’ll be sticking with the pro 64” models

Don’t worry about the wife. Just buy some good cryptos when the market is down and buy your machine when the market recovers. No change to the joint checking account balance and a new machine in the driveway.
