Love the stuff y’all do! Quick question/comment by someone probably not qualified to give advice on productions. I don’t mind the new hole preview still shots, but definitely feel like it’s harder to get a sense of the hole than with a fly through, especially on these wooded courses. Maybe it would be possible to use the images from the caddy book to show the location of the home preview shots? Just spitballing because I like the aesthetic but wish there was a little more context.

I’m continually surprised to see so many top disc golfers wearing Nike trail running shoes for their rounds. I get the fashion aspect, but their outsoles are notorious for poor grip, particularly on wet surfaces. Curious if any of these players notice a difference between these and other shoe outsoles?

I attended the Portland open on Friday. I'm crossing the street to get to hole one. a truck doesn't stop at the cross walk, but decides to do a U-turn in the crosswalk, a two lane road. Then drive away. Guess what the license plate says? "Big Jerm". LOL!

Would Hole 9 be more fun if there was a bounty for a Closest To Pin or for an eagle? Fun way to reward both the course designer as well as the aggressive/accurate discgolfer that is up for the challenge presented.

Just a stats teacher picking a nit with Big Jerm here: percentiles and percentages are different things. Hole 9 has a 94 percent fairway hit rate, not a 94th percentile hit rate. Percent or percentage is the thing you're thinking of if, say, 94 out of 100 people hit the fairway on 9. Percentile is the percentage of results less than or equal to a certain value, so if there were exactly 100 fairways on tour and 88 of them had a hit rate of 94% or lower, you would say that hole 9 at Blue Lake was in the 88th percentile of easiest fairways to hit. Some people like to define percentile as the percentage _strictly lower_ than a certain value, others like to say it's the percentage _less than or equal_ to a certain value, but it doesn't really matter which you choose, they convey roughly the same idea.
