Verity is stunning. Looks great and bowls great.

The British flag is regularly wrongly referred to as the 'Union Jack' even inside Great Britain. Except when flown on a ship's jackstaff its correct designation is the 'Union Flag.' Verity is a fantastic bowler and we are very proud of her here in England. Watching the ball action of both players I am personally unconvinced that as time passes and balls become increasing tricked up (put out of balance etc.) that such is actually benefiting players and certainly not amateurs. When young teenagers, with a great deal to learn, can take ten balls to a tournie...................well I'm almost speechless. Little wonder that confusion and frustration reigns, with ball changes all too frequent. And many of their number don't even possess the basic skill of rolling a perfectly straight ball! For those youngsters (most) who won't take a blind bit of notice of this advice: Before unloading your parents' towed trailer do please begin practice by rolling a 'benchmark ball.' That is one with a perfectly asymetric weight block which has neutrally placed thumb / finger holes. Such will enable you to read the lane. Only after such should magic / trick balls be considered for use!

It is a bummer the PWBA doesnt have the coverage on Fox like the men. The sport needs more excitement. CBS feels like something from the 90's
