The offset fuel cap is there simply to allow the machine to be filled up with petrol completely when it's on its centre stand. This is rather more important on a small motorcycle with an equally small fuel tank and can make a fair difference in the machine's endurance.

Great video! Takes me back to the days when all you used to do was 125 videos, the production has come along way since then! Great little bike, 125 riders are really spoilt for choice, such a range of different fun looking bikes.

Hi motors for the masses, awesome video. I think people need more informative reviews if these bikes like this. I have a lexmoto aura that I got just before the price hikes and I must say it is an amazing prices if kit and I love it. I do not really like feet up bikes but this revision of the outlaw looks like it has more of a bobber riding position like some of the Royal enfields and triumphs. But the dealership network where I am is not as great as lexmoto, I think this bike looks stunning still

Enjoying your video with your answer, it seems to be a torquey bike with technical specifications similar to Motron Revolver 125, which I'm going to gladly buy because of this in Hungary.

I had a couple of sinnis bikes even went to France on them managed to cruise at 60 on the motorways

huge market for 125cc bikes. this bike being a cruiser version is going to appeal to lot of riders. the design will capture those who are not so tall and seat provides more comfort than most. Price point is good. It has a lot in its favor. Can it capture the coffee brigade the short hop to the office? The more open minded maybe. The market is moving to customers being open to consider more options. I am looking at getting a Honda monkey or cub.. I am traditional GSA 1150 and busa man yes i have a dynaglide in the garage but I have fallen out of love when you needed to use octane boost to ride in only mildly cold weather, great movies love watching them

Seems OK, but I would go the extra mile and opt for the Zontes if I was shopping around. Also sounds a little odd under load, air cooled piston slap perhaps. Good review though, and I think you may have introduced a new word into motorcyclings lexicon.. "Bobbery" 😆

Have you changed the mic set up? Seems a lot cleaner then previous reviews. The bike itself lacks abit. My bluroc was £300 cheaper and has the extra bhp. Not that it matters once I’m on it.

Would love a compare to the Mutt Fat Sabbath 125, I do like the look of this bike, but the speedo really for UK release should have mph on the outer ring and not kph. Other than that it is a tidy bike, and I wonder how the lights compare to my Fat Sabbath. Love your videos, please keep on doing more and more 125s if you can!

i had a Used Fat Sabbath on a 22 plate but had to reject it due to fuel leak and other faults, the dealer wanted me to ride it to them as was ! i then bought a 22 plate used Sinnis Outlaw in Tuscany Yellow, it is great , fantastic colour and ride...love it.. far better than the Sabbath i think...

I've had my outlaw for over 4 months now and I love it. The only downside is the exhaust pipe has completely rotted, it's entirely orange and brown now even though it's kept in a garage so it's very poor quality stainless steel 🤔

This machine costs just £300 more than my electric bicycle. I presume it will do around 100mpg and will make an excellent little commuter and fun bike for weekends.

Seems an average bike, Sinnis have been in the 125 game for a long time now and build quality wise again are average Chinese. I think at that price they need to up their game if I was in the market for a 125 the new zontes for a little more would be a no brainer liquid cooled and touching the 15bhp limit. Aim better than okay Sinnis!

I'm pondering a 125, but one of my no-go's is that it can't have less than 13 or 14 bhp. Don't get me wrong, this bike looks pretty good, and its absolutely fine if you mainly ride around town etc. But if your ride regularly involves long stretches of A road (especially anything with more than a slight uphill), you're going to want to have enough speed to stay ahead of HGV drivers and others restricted to 55-60 mph, who sometimes let their vehicle get uncomfortably close up behind, if they can't overtake you. I know you got 60mph from it on the flat, but what about a bit of an uphill, or a headwind, or a heavier rider? I would like just that bit more speed available, in case I'm being boxed in by HGVs (perhaps one behind, and another coming up overtaking in the outside lane). You can guarantee the overtaking lorry will pull in ahead of you and then slow down slightly, and the one behind will then close up. It's not that its massively dangerous, and they know what they're doing, but its not a very comfortable situation, and in the rain it feels a bit sketchy. But this is the sort of territory you are forced into if your bike is struggling to reach 60mph and you need to use busy A roads to commute, or for regular travel. If only the govt had set the A1 limit to say 20bhp and 150cc, we'd be able to learn on much safer bikes- and we'd probably stay on them much longer after passing the test. The hyosung 125 v twin is a bice bike and has enough power to stay clear of HGVs, but at £3700 it feels a bit expensive, and I'm actually starting to look at the Yamaha XSR125, as it has the full 15bhp, and it has semi-retro styling which is really nice. It costs a huge amount for a 125 at around £4500, but on the plus side if you do come to sell, it will hold its value pretty well, so overall it might not turn out as expensive as it first seems....? But if its too steep, there is the Hyosung, or maybe the lovely-looking Mondial HPS models.

I agree on the ridiculous restrictions, just like 50s that can only do 28. It is ludicrous. Have you looked at the Zontes G1?

@@motorsforthemasses , yes I did, thanks- that's a great shout. I've looked at your excellent review of the G1, and clearly it has enough power to escape the dreaded HGVs on dual carriageways, plus its a pretty nice looking bike. But there are two minor things that just nudge me away from it- only a little bit, to be fair- but then, at £3.5k it only has to miss the mark by a little bit to get overlooked. One is that the price is only 1k less than the superb Yamaha XSR125 (and I think I'd get most of that extra 1k back at selling-on time). Plus, if I'm honest, the styling is very good, but...but... well, I guess at that kind of money I'm looking for something that really hits the spot visually. The G1 is a very nice bike, and we know that visual appeal is incredibly subjective... but for me personally, its looks don't quite hit my expectations for a £3.5k bike. Its one that I would shortlist on a top ten, but even as I was putting it on the list, I'd know that it was very unlikely to win out against the FB Mondial, the Hyosung GV, and even the XSR125 (if the budget will stretch to such heady heights). I'm not going to slag off Chinese bikes, because they've come on leaps and bounds as you know better than most, and they are fantastic value at £2k to £3k. But that said, I would still expect the Hyosung and the Yamaha to have a bit of an edge in terms of quality over Zontes, at the moment anyway. I might be wrong on that, of course- a lot of these things are based on hearsay rather than stats.

@@socrate696 , thanks for the info. I think as long as I look after it, the extra cost of the Yamaha would mostly be regained at the time of selling it, and it would be great to have that little bit of extra oomph for those occasional moments on A roads during rush hour (or long uphill stretches). I reckon that since the big lorries only do about 56-57mph in the UK, as long as you can do 60mph you can always pull away from them, or not get trapped in between two of them, etc. Unless I was in a hurry, I used to drive my car mostly at around the same sort of speed as lorries when on motorways and A roads. As a result, there were a few times I'd get trapped with one lorry in front and another one tailgating me close behind, and the outside lane would be full- so I couldn't pull out and escape the tailgater. If you are a slower driver, you learn to work around the lorries on motorways. E.g. I learned to keep an eye on the outside lane(s) if I was cruising along behind a lorry. If I saw another lorry coming up (slowly) in the outside lane(s), I would always pull out and overtake the lorry in front of me whilst I had the chance, because the one coming up behind would have a line of cars behind it stretching for hundreds of yards. And if a lorry pulled into the inside lane so it was just ahead of me, I would always overtake it asap and put my foot down for a mile or so, before pulling in again. If you let a lorry sit in front of you and there are others coming up behind, you can guarantee the ones behind will come right up and tailgate you for miles. If you allow say a 50 yard gap in between you and the lorry ahead, the lorry behind will close right up on you, as if to encourage you to close the gap ahead. I'm sure there are reasons why they have to drive that way, but I found it a bit unnerving to have these huge vehicles a few yards from my rear bumper, so I always avoided getting trapped if possible. The idea of playing these games with lorries on a 125cc motorcycle really does not appeal to me (especially in rain/cold conditions), and that's why I feel I need the ability to get to 65mph or even 70 for short bursts when needed.

I had a housong (or something like that) for a short time to get some road time in before my test. It was awful 🤣🤣. Bits would drop off it going down the road! Think they have really come on now though oh to be young again! Oh no hang on.... electric is coming! Glad I am old now 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

I have the Hoodlum and would still pick the Hoodlum between the two. The Hoodlum will do 70mph at a push but will go 60 to 65 no problem. But I pick the Hoodlum just based on the style.

Yes, tubed tyres are fine. What causes the issue is when people but tubeless tyres on with tubes in.

Great to see they changed the only two horrible things about the hoodlum....the idiotic position of the number plate and the terrible looking and sounding exhaust..does the outlaw exhaust fit the hoodlum I wonder...

Sinnis website still states 1 Yr parts and labour with breakdown but 2nd year parts only. Not good enough for 2022. Not very reassuring, pretty much everyone else is full 2 yrs at least.

does anyone know if the Sinnis Outlaw is sold on the Continent under the brand Motron as Revolver? they look very similar and Sinnis does not operate on continental Europe.

Done so few miles that you are concerned about pushing the tyres yet you max it out without a thought to running in the engine. Some poor get is going to buy that and have it as his pride and joy for a short time until the engine shows how it felt about it's early days.

@@motorsforthemasses It will be sold at some point tho but. I don't think that short distance at max throttle would harm it in any way, considering it already had mileage on it. Also it was well warmed up.
