@@xavierrivera9130 idk about that, i watched the other event live yesterday and the women rarely ever try any flip tricks and you can just tell the best women's skaters couldn't even make the top 8 mens if there was no gender contests and everyone just competed

@@globman3 a couple are close but yeah there's still a gap. I meant its more of a pro level now in terms of overall tricks. It used to be only 5050, boardalides and ollies all over the course

Pamela Rosa by far my favorite skater here! Attacking the course with Joslin vibes Shame her first trick was stolen since that's a high 8+ even with some docking.

I love how all the skaters are smiling and cheering for each other and getting hyped when they land the tricks. and meanwhile here in the coments, the fanboys killing each other because the one they wanted didn't win. does anyone who watches the street league know the real essence of skateboarding?

@@ndst293 in skateboard always is gonna be hard to judge and score, because is to subjective what trick is "better". But for me that doensn't matter at all i just want to see good skateboarding and have some good vibes.

@@sunnycoast4558 they're changing how their being scored now . I believe they're being scored against women only not men anymore . So for women skateboarding that is definitely a 9.4 . For men's obviously not .

Rayssa is amazing, and disputable the best woman skater out there, but definitely not humble. She literally tries to get the fans to cheer for her as she tries her tricks. She does better when the crowd screams for her, which is not humility, by definition

cool when malto judges, he be sayin the sht all the skaters wish cannon and zitzer would say lol. Ima need More Malto Madman sht. If the trick aint gunna be enough hes gunna say it like it is, thats the kind of announcer you need. Too many people tryin to be nice we need the Don Cherry of skateboarding announcing this. My vote would be Jason Lee as coach frank and Sean Malto on his Simon Cowel sht.

That chick was interviewing the skaters yesterday in the mens I forget who she was interviewing it was the first heat winner and she immediately starts asking him questions about nyjah and about none of his plans for the competition ahaha. best women final yet! congratz Leal! - incredible trick section final. - runs are getting more flow and style, although I would love to see some a bit more flip tricks. - Oda should be proud with that 9.4 and second place! - mazetto maybe isnt hat tech but that 180 was a banger. - Zwetsloot and Rosa, nice runs but just missing an edge for the trick section. - gg to all!

Judges get a minus today........Masetto with the backside 180 over the plants a 4.6.......????? She is the only one hitting that, Sammaria missed 3 of those in the semi final......... Women competitors 👍 Judges.........................👎

I was pretty sure Momiji did a front feeble on the big rail in her runs and then again in the best trick section and got a score. Same obstacle. That was a weird call.

She’s great but she’s torn both ACLs over the course of a couple years it’s really hindered her ability to compete and go for big tricks, she always does her best though.

Lmao Leticia was winning x games doing “180 fs Ollie” over gaps. Now you got Yumeka doing big kickflip feebles on big rails and another contest Chloe did a switch flip down a 12 stair. Leticia can’t compete at all

Leal fez as manobras que tem maior pontuação e Oda fez as manobras de médio ponto, talvez porque ela não queria arriscar de mais,mas mesmo assim ela fez uma ótima final com Rayssa.

It was pretty close. I think yumeka should have gotten a higher score for her kick flip to board off the big rail. She only got 7.4 and Rayssa got a 7.6 for the heel to board off the smaller rail. Really strange.

The final was great they should put two more competitors to the finals Cloe Covell and Funa Nakayama im just kiding but i didnt mind if it happend would be super awesome a final with 10 but was already good with 8 , Rayssa Leal once again winning super talented skater but all of them were great i love the camaraderie of women skaters..A Rayssa mais uma vez a mostrar o seu potencial e é claro que é sempre bom ver a Gabriela e a Pamela e as japonesas a Yumeka e a Momiji.

so instead of rewarding Yumeka who really pushed forward the level in women's skateboarding with that kf fs feeble they rewarded the girl who just did "enough" to win

You have to look at it from an overall perspective. You're only going off by by one trick Yumeka did. Yes that kf fs feeble was the best trick out off it all, but overall you have to take into account of her runs/best tricks. At the end of the day, all the woman are present and future skaters of SLS, and just Womens Skateboarding in general. They all did an amazing job!

@@kiwikiyoko thats exactly my problem with this particular kind of skateboarding contests. Stagnation is very prevalent in SLS, xgames, olympics etc thanks to score systems that rewards strategy over raw skill. In contrast we have other more "free" contests like thrasher or dime where you can see much better tricks in half an hour than the entire SLS season
