8.08kg w/o pedals? My Epic HT (non-Sworks) weighs 7.96kg or 17.5lbs with pedals & bottle cages. Or course I used much lighter components like 1120g Extralite wheelset, lighter seatpost, stem, bars, saddle + XTR 11 speed mechanical drivetrain w/ e Thirteen XCX cranks

Wrong usage of torque spanner! You have to hold the torque spanner exactly at the handle otherwise the torque isn't correct!

Since the weight weenies still measure without pedals which means it's not a usable bike anymore, why not just measure the weight of the frame and call it a day, because you cannot ride that either without a full setup... Yes, seriously!
