I went to look at this bike today and ended up buying it. Partly because I liked it,but also this was the last one in my frame size in the state of South Carolina. The dealer said the earliest he might get more was May 2023! I really love it so far. Your video really helped in the decision. Thanks!

The roscoe 6 frame is way more allround for commuting and mountainbiking. The 7,8,9 are more capable of going fast downhill. I like the old frame more, as i also commute with it next to weekend trail riding. I also like the nimbleness of the 27,5+ compared to 29; even tho i am on an XL frame.

I love the 27.5" and the rolling speed difference on 29"vs.27.5" is minimal. The 2.8" is pretty brutal with the rolling resistance. I think the 2022 is the 2.6" wide. might be why you noticed the difference as much as you did. Looks like a nice bike, glad they added the dropper to the 6. Great entry level spec

Matty , if you get the chance, try the new Roscoe 7,8,9 off-road. On the street you wont need the slacker head angle. But off-road and at speed on rougher trails it is more capable. It's not a Full suspension but since you have already taken your Roscoe off-road so that would be a good reference of how much better the changes are. I rarely ride the full suspension at my local trails because though they are rough, my my fully suspension feel like too much bike and make everything kinda boring. But the HT is more lively and fun. Now for the Bike parks with big jumps the hardtail stays home :)

Are you getting a new one, Matty, or just checking it out? When I bought my bike this past spring, I compared the Roscoe to the Giant Fathom, those two makes are the most comparable to each other, so they compete a lot on their designs. For years the Roscoe was the better bike, but Giant redesigned their whole spec for 21 and the Fathom was the better bike, which is why I went with it. The new Roscoe is much better designed than last years model, so if you do get another one I'd go with the upper level bikes with the new frames. The way you ride off road you will appreciate the slacker frame. You already have a Marlin for street use, the Roscoe is a trail bike. I know how much you love climbing, go with the hard tail!

OK now the other question are the police in America really as racist as the main stream media says they are having actully been there and was living in Brixton London when the riots where taking place the media blew it completely out of proportion to what was happening in real life and you sir are as good a person to ask as any so I'm asking , Sorry if I have offended in anyway I'm just asking your opinion
