It’s late turkey season in the southern states when Hunter Farrior makes the trip down to his hometown in Mississippi to meet up with Chase Farrior and Austin Sills for a morning in textbook Mississippi turkey woods.
The three stayed on this one longboard from roost until shortly after noon, when it finally all came together for a shot. After Chase’s homemade wingbone call suddenly gave the gobbler a little something he’d yet to hear all morning, we rode it out until he finally came in to take a look.
We’re not professionals and footage might be a little shaky, but it’s real - and we remembered to bring a camera - so bear with us throughout these small milestones, inevitable within these realms of filming and turkey hunting.
