Almost completed 2 years on fz and to be honest I'm loving this bike.I switched to fz after selling my apache 160 4v.Everyone was complaining about power and all but i just listened to my heart that from a 150cc segment bike i need a good reliable engine, having smooth response and no vibrations at high rev end and sufficient power. And all these things were there in Fz, though its having 12ps of power then also i touched 125 on this which was excellent. Yes i know there are bikes like apache 160 4v and n160 who's having top speed of 135 n all but all of us know (except toxic fan boys of apache riders) that apache is not reliable at all as fz is, in 2 years i haven't faced any problems in my fz where as when i completed 2 years on apache i faced lots of problems everytime i have to rush towards service center. Apache is having power their fanboys will say only this except than this they don't have any points 😂, even fz is having power but ony that much of power is available in fz which is practically achievable for a 150cc bike if anyone want to cross 130-140+ of speed then anyone should opt for another bike of higher displacement because apache is not safe at this much of speed. I have ridden fz on highways also and i liked the refinement of Yamaha's engine, like there was no vibrations at all even i touched 125 of speed i didn't faced any vibrations at all. I have cruised at 80-90 and engine was smooth and sorted i was loving to ride this bike on highway too. In city the mid range and low range performance is also tremendous, in city I'm getting avg of 55kmpl and on highway I'm getting 62kmpl of avg which is a big relief for me (jaise avi current price hai fuel ke uske according to fz bharpur sath de rahi hai meri savings karne m). At last i would highly recommend to go for fz v3 ❤️

I own fzs V3 for 3 months now. Everything you said is totally right. That was a real review. 🔥

It gives me 50 - 55 km mileage easily. It is true that this bike is not for rush driving or race. This bike is for those who love to drive a decent driving.

2022 FZS FI V3 owner since Feb 2022. Would like to point some things out. 1. If you can, use Motul 7100 right from the first service. Use a flush to change the engine oil. 2. Swap for the Apollo Alpha S1 140/60 R17 tyres. Good grip for all terrains. Better wet & dry grip than CEAT ZoomRad's.(Or not depends upon your preference) 3. Get a microfiber cloth/sponge to clean your bike. Dont use regular rags to clean, it will scratch your paint. 4. Stay around 4500 rpm during the engine breaking period. 5. Keep servicing your bike regularly and you wont face any problems. I haven't faced any since purchase :) 6. Riding with pillion will always make the under belly hit the speed breakers. By always I mean always.( This is India, we playing Killer Road Humps Simulator T_T) 7. Maintaining tyre pressure at fuel pumps, not your road side "Puncture Shop". 8. Use WD-40 for cleaning and lubricating your chain every 500 Kms. Very practical and purpose-built bike for an okayish price. I bought my FZS in Bhubaneswar, Odisha for ₹1.4L≈. My friend bought the RTR 160 4V for ₹1.6L≈, which comes with 17.55 PS and 14.73 Nm torque. The driving experience is on par when compared to the FZS but as SR said, FZS definitely feels underpowered against the RTR 160 4V. Both bikes are nimble and flicky af during the city rides. FZS gives a little vibration on the foot pegs after 6500 rpm. The RTR 160 4V feels smooth at high rev ranges, haven't felt any vibration at 11K rpm. Both bikes feel stable and planted at high speeds. We both didn't drive rashly during our engine breaking period. We serviced our bikes regularly and washed it every 2 weeks. And after 1 year of ownership of the FZS, I can definitely say this, both bikes are good in their own ways. 1. FZS has better braking than the RTR 160 4V. 2. A little better clutch & gear shifting experience in the RTR 160 4V than the FZS. 3. FZS has better mileage in city roads 48+ Km/L. Provided you dont redline it that much. Highway mileage is better than 160 4V. 4. More power and torque in 160 4V gives better confidence while overtaking at higher speeds than the FZS. 5. FZS looks bulkier than RTR 160 4V due to the fiber tank. 6. Front facelift of FZS is more attractive to the younger generation, the Apache's on the other hand tbh looks kind of outdated, still looks good though.

Being fzv3 user for 3yrs & crossed 53k no issues best mileage no drop in mileage decent performace as my preference. No issues best for city uses.

I am owner of fz-s dlx model.. My personal opinion: if you're looking for mileage then no doubt you must go for it .. only one drawback of this bike is that the top end I totally flat.. but the initial pick up. Is good I've also done mileage on highway speed was 60 - 70 and the average was 64.4 kmpl... But bike will 45+ in even rash driving .. I know most of you're not gonna believe this.. but it's true .. And rider, pillion comfort is best in segment.. my experience with this bike is of 2 months And I've not faced even Single issue.. I'm happy with this bike

FZ can easily deliver a mileage of 50- 55+

I've been owning the same one as shown in the video since last 4 months. My 2nd service has been completed too. Till now I've not got avg millage less than 60kmpl. (I always fill the tank fully till the net like structure when fuel gauge shows 1 bar). I've ridden it continuously at 75-76kmph on high roads without any hesitation. My mid range has been improved more when I discussed in my service center and they allowed me to use the full synthetic yamalube (used in r15, mt 15) instead of the mineral one. Yeah, on open roads sometimes it feels the power is lacking... but when I get the avg millage of 60+ kmpl at the end of the month... It's quiet satisfying. On road stability and handling is too good. In case of breaking it's far better than Apache 160 4V, almost same but a little bit better than Gixxer 150 (I felt this while I took the test rides of all these bikes more than once from different showrooms before finalizing FZS). For day to day ride and occassional touring; definitely Yes to Yamaha! ❤️

If you compromise in power Definitely go for FZS v3. As a Fzs v3 owner my Experience till now is fabulous 👌.

I bought 2 months back fz v3 1. Good comfort for rider and pillion. 2. Highly stable at turnings In city or at highway cruising 3. Good mileage of 50kmpl before first service 4. Dangerously Overheating for just 10 min ride ( may be due to new engine. Have to check after 2 more services) 5. Vibrating at 4500 - 5000 rpm. After 5000rpm vibrations reduced Have to check with synthetic engine oil next time. I'm sure it will perform much better then.

I am regular follower for really long time of this channel and I am glad to see the love and fame across country as bike enthusiast and vlogger this channel has received. I need your experiential inputs for my newly purchased Yamaha FZ fi V3. I have purchased bike on last week of October. I saw this video on FZ fi v3 ,where Syed was riding bike without using hands for 2-3 second to demonstrate handling capabilities of the bike. I observed my bike tilts on left side as soon as I remove hands from handlebar. Observed this at speed of 10-20 kmph as well as 40-50 kmph , with/without pillion rider. Also, observing mild pain on right wrist if I drive more than 25-30 km constantly. Any suggestions?

Hi, I own an MT15 V1 and a Meteor. MT15 is very good motorcycle, but suspension is stiff as it is a sports bike. I'm looking for a 150 to 160cc bike to replace the MT because i want more comfort, but at the same time don't want to compromise mileage (MT gives 58kmpl avg) and performance. Budget is flexible. FZ V3 would have been a good choice but performance is quite low. @SR Motoworld What would you suggest please?
