Nice that you were able to film some features in operation. That electronic privacy glass is amazing. Strange that they couldn’t find a way to engineer the wiper blades differently. Three big wiper arms parked up in the middle of that otherwise glorious big windshield? Small thing perhaps. But caught my eye.

If I were in the market for a 4-5m yacht, this would eliminate all competition. Not until this very day did I realize someone still makes a boat with real class.

There is so much to love about these yachts. I would love to see how they design a fly bridge version. Probably the only thing I dislike about this yacht is that both main seating areas are dining . I would prefer a lounge area in one of them

The Z72 is to become the Z7 in due course, currently the Z44 is becoming the Z5, launch this year. Then the Z7. But the boat I want? I want the Z55 once it has been revised into the Z6. That might be 3 years away.

looks great but easy to swamp out the cockpit if your hit from behind with a large following sea.

It's a 40 knot vessel. If you're getting hit by a following sea with this beast you need to be removed from the helm.

Also: that "beach club" platform RAISES so it seals the cockpit. You need to see some photos or vids of this in operation to see what I mean. But even if it didn't (a-la Bluegame, Arcadia, etc.) it would still out-run the sea.
