As simple as it gets. Im trying to help my dad do this from 3000 miles away and this is what im sending him. Short. Sweet. To the point. Even better that youre NOT car savvy as you stated. The language makes sense to regular folks. Thank you.

ignore the criticism. thank you for making this very easy to do. hardest part was getting the bulb locked back in, but all in all, it was a 10 minute job. thanks again.

Appreciate it. Not here to post glorified money making videos, or start my KZfaq career. I had to figure it out on my own and wanted to help others too man. I'm glad it helped you brother.

This is one of the coolest hacks I’ve ever seen! Change a headlight bulb without even opening the hood (let alone disconnecting the battery, etc.)? That’s awesome - thank you!

Dude. Thank you. I searched everywhere for a clear video. This was perfect. Saved me money and time. You rock. Feel free to keep making these Accord videos.

This is literally the best video I could find. So thanks a lot. The bulb on the right side was so rough to take out because the light got stuck and my large man hands made it difficult. lol I wish they designed that part better. smh

This was just what I needed. Well done, regardless of the comments. I followed your spoken words and video clips without a problem. Saved me time and aggravation. Thanks.

Thank you I got so frustrated with this. I didn't even know there was a middle clip. I wish more DIY car videos explained things so clearly.

This was the sweaty manic advice I needed, and I watched it on 1.5 speed! xD Thanks for keeping it simple! I watched a full headlight change and was like fuck that in this weather lol

i love my 09 accord coupe but HATE DOING THIS. What the hell was honda thinking. ive had 13 cars and this is the only one where changing a headlight bulb is a mission.

Great hack dude. It worked wonderfully. Of course, these plastic plugs or caps that u have to pop out to release to rubber covering may break so u may need to replace them also if they break on you. Very useful video. Thanks

your short, concise, very well done video is perfect. I was initially wondering if this was going to end up being one of those multiple hour, disassemble your car to change the light adventures... thanks for the wisdom and common sense.

I had to loosen the two Phillips screws on the back of the bulb retainer in order to rotate the bulb. It would not move otherwise. And tighten once in place...

@@chrisinreallife7969 yes! The Red rubber ring was stuck in the light hole. I didn't realize it and tried to put the new light in and it would not click in. It took me forever to the life I had to remove the older ring that didn't come off with the old light.🤣👌🏼

You're cool. But for real, maybe honda could have just let you access the bulbs with the hood popped rather than having to pull fasteners which are made out of plastic that break easily and pull aside the splash guard, all while working around the front wheels of the car.
@user-hg1yd1li2x8 ай бұрын
Not one video shows how to put the plastic shield with the clips back on. When you remove the clips they will bust so you then need new clips to put the wheel cover back on.

Chris In Real Life the air intake is getting in my way. I took the top part off but the batter is also in my way and I’m not too sure if it’s possible to remove the cover as well

What type bulb was it?

3 minutes and sweating it took me longer lol
@burtbolivar71464 жыл бұрын
When you pull the plug from the bulb you have to push down on the bottom plugs clamp to release it from the bulbs rig first or you might break something. gotta explain EVERYTHING
@jeansandmyshirt4 жыл бұрын
it'd take longer than 8min to take out plastic clips for both fenders. nice video but maybe change the misleading title.
@chrisinreallife79694 жыл бұрын
You only need to take out 3 of them at most and it takes not 15 seconds to pop one out lol
@ursanbear2 жыл бұрын
vertical video sucks.
@mcclendonreport5 жыл бұрын
It's not exactly an 8 minute job, especially when the bulb is hard to get out.
You know, the whole concept is for you to SHOW us how your doing it, not talk us to death. It's a good concept but poorly executed ..... maybe you can try again showing the actual step by step?
@mattcocco68584 жыл бұрын
Maybe you can STFU
@ericjames684 жыл бұрын
If his explanation wasn't enough then you should just pay a mechanic.
