I was severely bullied as a kid too. 😔 but now I have a great career in which I have the opportunity to help people improve their mental health and self esteem which is healing 😁. Collecting dolls is therapeutic unmasking and makes my autistic heart happy.

It sounds like you and I have very similar personalities. I couldn’t do a KZfaq channel because if I got criticism I’d just shut down and it would ruin me emotionally. I enjoy watching your channel and your Instagram. Keep up the good work!

Thank you! Oh yes, the criticism is difficult. I’ve had people criticize things as simple as the way I brush my dolls’ hair and I do struggle with it a lot.

Evelyn, this was wonderful. Thank you for sharing, even though you've been sick. I'm thinking you must post on Stories on AGIG, as I never look at Stories and I feel like I've missed some of what's been going on. I knew you had been sick, but I didn't know how much your family has been going through. I'm so sorry to hear this and hope that everyone is on the mend. I LOVE that you won the Sparkle Awards and I love that you feel validated, as you should. You are a dear, sweet, kind person and it makes me sad to think of people bullying you. But I also imagine that experience has helped to make you the person you are today, speaking out for others and spreading kindness wherever you go. I do pray that you and your family are blessed immeasurably in 2024. Looking forward to the year ahead. :)

Thank you! Yes, I posted to my stories. My husband was in the hospital for a few days. Better now but we have a long road ahead trying to figure out the cause of some heart issues.

First of all, I hope your husband is doing better, but I’m sorry to hear you’re sick now! Great video looking back on 2023, and I have a couple of questions. When do you think you’ll have the PDF guide done, and are you planning to charge for it? If so, how much are you thinking? Also, you mentioned getting a better camera, so does that mean you’re thinking about doing a face reveal?! Absolutely no pressure either way! ❤😊 Lots of love from Tennessee!

Thanks, Jessica! I’m not sure when I’ll have the guide done, but I’m hoping within the next few months. I won’t be charging for it, it’s just for fun and to help out the community. I’m not sure on a face reveal yet but maybe one day! Oh, and editing to add my husband is feeling better, we will be following up with lots of specialists but boy am I glad he’s home!

What a lovely person you are, you need to stop beating yourself up about different things. I hope your husband is feeling better. Oh by the way I have seen somewhere if a dolls hair has lost its shine they used a spray for rubber car tyres, it wasn’t you by any chance was it.

They said because it’s used for rubber/plastic and the hair is sort of plastic. Anyway she used it on the dolls hair to shine it, I I find it I will let you know

Downy dunks and the car spray things are not good for doll hair. We used to use them back in the day, but I’ve ruined a couple dolls hair using those products. Watch the Doll Studio by Kris (formerly AG Salon Stylist). He’ll give you great hair tips.
