Great Match! Never quit in a match, keep swinging...as a South Coast APA 3 I'm impressed by the level of play and the arena! The Purse ain't bad either!

I know Tyrone we both play in cape fear apa I was there for yellow tier really strong and great players out there but Tyrone is probably the humblest player and even if you play him in 8 ball or 9 ball or masters after the match he will tell you what you did wrong or how good of a stroke my biggest problem he will tell you I rush my shots

The level of these players compared to greats is so much different! The pros GOATs their positioning perfect but these guys are off so many times! Still these guys here are mad players!

The lighter voice sounding guy always sounds like an idiot. Ive watched several of these apa matches and he boils my blood sometimes. Its like hes never picked up a cue and watches the game with his back turned

I totally forgot about pre Texas Express rules but that’s how I recall it going just like she says. I’ve been playing in Minnesota since my childhood in the 80s. We also have a good representation of Scandinavians so that could have something to do with it. Yeah you betcha dare ehh

I’ve always been told in my local APA league that an APA rack has to have the same ball, all solids or all stripes, in each corner of the rack. I guess not. Lol

8 in middle is all that matters...rules are on the app or your operator can get you a tangible book

Not sure about APA but VNEA is a stripe and a solid on the bottom corners, doesn't matter what the head ball is, and of course the eight in the middle top, and without " "purpose or intent" for the rest of the balls.

I thought as long as you make one on the break you can choose either high or low. I know it's not bar rules but tournament pool it usually is

I know in tap you can do that but as far as I know in apa you have to play what you make unless you drop one of each on the break

So they can fit more tables in, have more matches, and make more money. Smaller tables are cheaper and easier to move.

29:47 The call pocket on all shots argument falls flat when the league has call pocket on 8 and has a system for preventing debate (physical marking). You'd just mark each and every shot.

Whoever is directing the camera views has an uncanny ability to keep the target balls and potted shots out of the edit. Too bad the live streams can’t show an instant replay. We missed the good half of the match

I disagree with their comment on the pushout. No pushout only benefits the better player. Cause good players will make more good hits, bad players will give up more ball in hands. You give a 6 or higher ball in hand, the rack is pretty much over.

Rack-3 make the most balls in that rack .Then play safe break out 8 ball and run out.

No that is not accurate. Skill level 7 is the highest in 8 ball. Still level 9 is the highest in 9 ball.

Calling pockets should be a must. Get rid of the obvious shot rule, and just call pocket on every shot. Slop should not be legal. My league plays by WPA rules, and we have never had a problem, and 99% of the time at least 3 players on both teams are completely drunk.

Apa pays out terrible. I only do in house league anymore. All the money paid in goes right back to the players.

FELT AND CLOTH IS SYNONOMOUS. FOR A POOL TABLE COVERING A PERSON DOESNT MENTION ALL THE DIFFERENT FABRICS CONTAINED IN A POOL TABLE COVERING. THEREFORE DEFINE "CLOTH" DEFINE "FELT"

Also, the break should be alternated. Having the game-winner break is hometown bar rules, not a legit money tournament.

This is why I don’t like APA. These two are on a completely different level than other 7’s. These guys are fast decisive, and know what they are doing. Most other 7’s I see take a long time thinking, and then botch the shot. These guys take about 3 seconds and fire away. I think they need to have another Skill level for 8Ball.

Has to do with the number playing an event. To pay out the same, one level/tournament grouping would have to subsidize another. If you're a democrat, I could see why you'd be mad about every group not getting the same. Equality is better than equity.
