I'd take your Swinger over the Black Ghost anyday. You made a good choice. Especially if you can get the Demon 170 and keep your Swinger for a daily, that would be my version of perfection.

I'm seriously disappointed that Stellantis didn't release a Last Call Challenger in Panther Pink. Not furious fuchsia, but PANTHER PINK. Major lost opportunity.

The Ghost has really grown on me. Very nice touches. True, its cosmetic but its still a cool tribute that looks awesome. I also really like the seats in this one with the mix of laguna leather and alcantara. Most others are either one or the other.

the hoodpins are a mopar product. The kit costs just under $300 dollars and can be purchased through your local Dodge dealer or ordered online. Easy to install, except for the hesitation of drilling 2 holes in your cars hood, or dealer installed for about $150 dollars extra. They looked great on my 2020 50th Anniversary Edition R/T

Your Swinger is beautiful. I love that green. One half of me wants a last call but the other says keep what I have. In 2018 I bought a new yellow jacket Challenger Hellcat wide body 6spd. I got it 2000 off sticker. It now has 17000 miles because I also have a 2015 Tacoma 4x4 I daily. I love my Hellcat. So after watching your videos I'm going to wait. In the future if there's a regular Hellcat wide body on the lot for sticker or lower then I'll get one. If I can't then I still have a bright yellow Hellcat. I refuse to pay a markup. Also I had that same suspension problem you had. It was fixed under warranty.

Was going to order a new challenger hellcat widebody about 2 years ago..but found a low mileage 2018 with the options,and color that I wanted, no markup,them I bought all the parts to upgrade it to 2019 specs. Yeah any markup equals a hard pass for me but to each his (or her) own. I got a 2023 Challenger WB Hellcat Jailbreak at msrp. Wouldn’t have paid $1 over. Of course I ordered it, not off the lot. On a side note, I’m a much bigger fan of your Swinger than that Black Ghost.

Black ghost in Ohio. Sold for 217k and the buyer also purchased a swinger as well. Just to store them away. eBay has hood pin kits but they are mostly being sold by dealers. I wanted to add pins to mine but I can’t see myself spending $500 on hood pins for a charger. Plus I was told the charger ones only come in chrome.

If i got a challenger i would want the black ghost or a super stock. Destroyer grey with red laguna

If you're over 6' 3" you DO NOT want a sun roof on a Challenger--they subtract like 3" of headroom. That Black Ghost would be a great find for a tall guy.

I looked at 10 black ghost on-line and non of them have a sunroof!!! Like you said it's just a sticker package.... Limited numbers made but they were to lazy to have them as a numbered car. Like my Mopar '19 or my 50th T/A and my SRT8 furious Fuchsia. They are lower numbers made than a Swinger.

I saw a shakedown at a dealer in Dallas and it looks better than this. It's a very nice looking car. It's basically a swinger that is blacked out. And it comes with the hood pins. And maybe the boom box in the trunk.

Hello, the black chost is just awesome. The demon is definitely an investment. My 5.7 Hemi cost €28,500 2 years ago. Is traded in Germany today with 80,000 km around 34,000 €. A real offer is invoice minus rebates. We all know they still make the holdback plus the other hidden incentives, which is a decent profit since they pay a minimum wage guy to prep the car & then the only other thing they do is a little bit of paperwork...

The sticker car stuff you’re talking about is absolutely true. They’re just trying to keep people buying these and calling them “special.” The resale will definitely be great because of the limited production but all of these things at the end, the jailbreak concept and these last call cars are, more than anything, attempts to unload all of the parts they have for these cars. There are no new parts at all, which is why there are no substantial changes. It’s hype marketing to reduce the loss on surplus parts when production ends. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE these cars and will be buying a used hellcat within the next few years, but they’ve handled the end of production and the introduction of the future “muscle” cars is insanely underwhelming. All my opinions of course, except the money grab to sell parts. “Special” editions are purely cosmetic.

I have a 2023 challenger scat shaker.. its a shame that this last year, special edition are 100% appearance packages only... dodge should have gave them a different tune or something. Swinger, black ghost.. doesnt matter.. stickers and wheels. Dodge could have made legands but definitely dropped the ball

Unfortunately that dealership is a Joke. I called to try and make a deal on that plumb crazy red eye and they wanted $45k over sticker. Sales guy was adamant on that price. He didn't even want to negotiate anything. He laughed when I asked about msrp or close to it but his attitude changed when I told him that I got a Demon 170 allocation for less than what the dealership is asking for that red eye challenger. If I didn't pay $45k over for a Demon 170, then I sure as hell not paying that for a red eye 😂

Idk man the demon I can understand or even the hellcat but I feel like this challenger is nothing special just couple badges on another challenger lol they haven’t changed the body style since 2010 over a decade like they’re kinda played at this point the demon was the last one that was a big change or interesting and first was the hellcat lol 😂

The Ghost is actually a jail broke Super Stock. Indeed, the Ghost has the Super Stock engine (and tune)r, rear and suspension. The differance is the Ghost comes with 20 inch wheels and 6 piston front calipers, rather than the Super Stocks' 18 inch wheels and 4 piston front calipers. So if you want to drag your Challenger the Super Stock is more ideal with the 18 inch wheels, but otherwise if your not interested in dragging, the Ghost offers more performance than a Challenger Hellcat Red Eye, As the original Ghost was known as a fast street car that disappeared into the night, and not the drag strip, the Ghost concept fits the story.
