Nice punchy review. I hired this from Enterprise (Compact elite range) and it was extremely comfortable, and quiet - and handled beautifully, at high speeds.

Recently bought bmw f40 120 i m sport. The car has no lane departure features and also no Intelligent Safety button. All safety must be as standard features, don't understand BMW's market strategy.

What a great review. Can I ask, does this particular model have a 360 camera? Most new cars and SUV's from Nissan, Kia etc have those on their mid level cars. I was wondering whether to get this BMW or those others with 360 camera. Thanks

Most germans dont even have rear view cam as standard. IIRC bmw and vw both have rear cam as 'optional' in few models like polo, 1 series etc

Great video mate big like ! What’s your opinion as buying for first car ? Really like the 1.5 liter 136 hp engine on it . Should I go for it or instead pick Kia Xceed 1.6 liter 160hp engine ?

As a first car, insurance on the BMW might be a little pricy. If that’s not an issue, I’d definitely go for the 1 series over the Kia

@@shollysgarage this is the only man onKZfaq complains about the clarity on the infotainment system is saying Mercedes is better it’s not it’s nicer granted check out other reviews where it’s abundant the 1 series has the best infotainment system in its class (not the nicest where some people seem to be getting mixed up

Great video mate. I have one question regarding the molding on the rear door where the ambient lighting should be, I noticed that there is no molding and I would like to ask if there is still ambient light without that molding or it is not there at all at the back because I want to buy new 116i 110 horse power and when I want to put the option for ambient lighting in the configurator, there is no molding at all where it lights up, I also saw that on slightly older versions of this new model they have lighting and that molding. And I would just like to ask you if the ambient lighting has been removed to newer versions, thanks!

@@EuRoNiX44 yeah pretty annoyed - just got mine and didn’t realise this option had been quietly removed. Small detail but knowing I have a newer car with lesser features is annoying

@@kdot2321 Yeah, they unfortunately did something similar at Mercedes with the a class, removing the ambient lighting at the middle console as well as below the front seats which could be seen as a rear passenger, but don’t be upset, congrats and enjoy your new ride 🙌🏻

I have a 20 plate in red with the ambient lighting in the back. Just changed it today for a 22 plate in Storm Bay(!) Collect it next week, this had me checking the dealerships video. Phew my new one still has the lighting. If anyone can explain the deleted HK sound system I'd be grateful 😊

My a class 180 from 2019 still has a better interior than this new bmw , where is the ambient light ? They removed or what ?

Merc's interior is a bit like a knacker's caravan or a Christmas tree 😂. I prefer a simpler, more understated interior.

Better in what sense? Looks fancy but the a class interior feels really cheaply made. I’ve sat in my fair few of them
