Check out my 2023 Bassmaster Elite Series competition boat. This fishing machine is the perfect boat for me to accommodate my tournament fishing as well as the multi-species and guiding activities that I mix in as well.
I love my office!

Awesome rig. Saw the sunscreen spray. My wife got me a sun screen in a stick. No sunscreen on your hands or your baits. Good luck this year.

Congrats on the 2023 Classic win. Well deserved, my friend. I notice no Hydrowave on your boat? Any reason why you don't use one? I guess that gimmick ran its course huh. It sure did hook a lot of fishermen. Once again, great job winning the Classic. You sure showed us Tennessee local Tennessee fishermen where and how to catch smallmouth of Telluco. Thank you for that. Lol

Love the boat surprise you never tried the drift paddles with power poles, seams all the small mouth fishing that would be the bomb.

Hi Gussy, great rig congrats. Can I ask why one of the finders were not mounted flush on the bow in dedicated space by Lund? Just looking for ideas for fish finder arrangements on the bow. Also for the Minn Kota do you use the 52 or 60 shaft? Thank you in advance

Nice rig, Jeff. Isn't that the 2075 Pro V Bass XS? I was going to order a new Lund last year, but they discontinued the Pro V Bass. I do not like the extra seating or the pedestal seats. Less storage in that rig than the old model. Hope they come back with the bass boat again instead of that multi species rig. Wish you the best of luck on the tour. 👍👍👍

It is the XS model, yes. The original model was replaced with the XS and to be honest, I felt the same way when I got this model last year but it has grown on me and I love it now. There is still a bunch of storage and the extra seats come in handy. Still plenty of room on that back deck to fish.

When you are set up for tournaments, how many different rods, and different reels do you carry on the boat?

It depends where we're fishing but for the most part traveling around, 15-20...I keep 20 the max limit.

I have the same boat but with only one agm in the back, no power poles… I also like to salom water ski and would love it if I could get more boat out of the water for less wake (mostly the back of the boat). I also like to fish on Lake Ontario so big waves is a concern. So basically I want smoother big water performance, less wake for water skiing, and less fuel at mid range is always a plus! I don’t really care about top speed

What speed are you getting with the 24 pitch fury?

Around 60 with it loaded up. Can go a few MPH faster with everything out of the front.

I have the 1875 also and run the 60". It is heavy but I've still had it come out of the water on Oneida. I was kinda suprised when I saw Gussy had the 52". You will probably be happy with either one you get. I got the 60" cuz I would rather have it and not need it, than... I would recommend Minn Kota's slide on plate though. Especially if you get the LUND custom cover. Good Luck and you will love that boat!
