I feel like Chevy/GM has been doing such a great job with the Corvette, that I (as a car enthusiast) am gradually losing interest in foreign sportcars/supercars.

The rear end of this C8 Z06 with the lower sproiler looks very much like that of the C7 Z06, which I loved very much.

The rear end of the Z06 looks better than that of the base C8 (Stingray) model.

Putting my Z06 deposit down 16 months ago was one smart move if I do say so myself, what a great looking & sounding car.

I'm a big wing kind of guy and I love this big wing not to mention the car itself. Awsome!!!

Z07 for me. I'm SO happy to see that Chevy has redesigned the rear end to more closely resemble a traditional 'Vette. To me, that was the Achilles Heel. This is gonna be EPIC.

People say they don’t like the zo7 now, but when the specs eventually come out I guarantee many of those people will change their minds or pretend they always liked it.

The minimal look is classy if your gonna daily it. And the wheels look great on both.

Now that I have seen video of the Z06 running at the Ring I am even more excited. Glad I am in the order queue, because there will be high demand for this car! Since my priority is running at Road Atlanta and will opt for the Z07 pkg.

Finally, I been saying the front is too tall. Now they extended the front and made it lower. Looks much better

The base model wheels and wing looks a lot better

I really enjoyed the quality of your video and it's content. I prefer the base/smaller spoiler in general. It's a speed style spoiler compared to the wing spoiler. You can tell from the track video's, the wing spoiler handles the corners much better. A good example would be in Hennessey's 205.1 WR MPH when they remove the Z51 spoiler and gain 10 mph to hit the WR MPH.

I'm still shocked it's gonna be an N/A flat plane 5.5L V8 .... I don't think people understand just how good it will sound. Especially with the right exhaust system, it'll almost be like an F1 car at 8-9k rpms. I CAN'T WAIT

Both versions look bad ass. I’m going to try and get one and I’m thinking lower spoiler, torch red with a black interior with a corsa extreme exhaust. Going to be a keeper 20-30 years hopefully. Hopefully the dealers don’t add huge markups.

This Corvette looks better than the Acura NSC, to me.

The Z07 package looks menacing love that wing looks better then the huge wing on the C7 ZR1

Honestly I prefer the minimalist wing (I'm buyest because the C7 Z06 is litteraly my favorite car) but the higher one looks really cool, there's no impression of too much like on the last ZR1

i can really see this car becoming a well-known modern classic in 20 or so years, just like older generation corvettes have within the 50's-90's as classics. both corvette packages sound absolutely amazing ! wish i can own one of these one day in 2 more years when i head off to college and even modify one! the aftermarket community will love creating f1-inspired exhausts or even headers, mods of many types, who knows.

Also prefer the less complex wheels, pic with the left front tire off the pavement, and Batmobile flame out the back!

I like both wings, but the higher wing i like the best. carbon ceramic brakes with 7 spoke wheels. magnesium rims would be a very light wheel. right now I am contemplating on my C6 trade in or keep it with the C8 Z07.

I like the small wing but if my arm is twisted I would take the big wing great pics.

High Wing Z07 C8 🏎 🔥

I would pick the Z07 package only if I was going on a track often (which I do not). The look of the spoiler definitely wouldn’t be my first consideration. The main part of it is ceramic brakes which was a $7k option on a C7. Very few people would find it a rational choice.

Watching the videos; It appeared to me that the high wing car was much faster and more stable. This could be my bias or it could be that there was a better driver in the H.W. cars, plus the improved Z07 ceramic breaks. The ride height looked similar, maybe a bit lower on the H.W., but the front aero was much more aggressive. The rear spoiler is growing on me, as the curves are very sweet!

I wish the camo rap was an option on the ZO6 in different colours an the 4 exhaust in the center is the way it should be on all Corvettes.

Great video. I'm still wondering about the exhaust pipes...it seems they are still showing a "pipe inside a pipe".

Personally that Base Model Z06 with that small spoiler......IS SO SEXY TO ME PERSONALLY!!!!!

I like both aero packages. For those wanting a more aggressive look and function the high wing and dive planes look fantastic, while the more subtle aero on non-Z07 is still very distinct from the base C8. As for wheels - the 5 spoke by far looks better IMO. Any word yet if the Z06 will have a hardtop convertible option?

I would take the base I'd never be at track to justify the Z07 package & the EXPENSIVE brakes. Plus the base would be a little more practical & faster with less down force. It's the perfect street package.

The 5 spoke wheels look slick! Both wings are a huge improvement over the C8 wing options. But no active aero???

With C8s this fast, Chevy should provide an optional factory installed roll cage.

I dig the more subdued looks of the base Z06. I’d dig it more with the five spoke wheels from the Z07 tho!

Even thow i definitely dig the Z07 Spoiler on the C8Z06. But i personally so love the classic C7 Spoiler

i sat on a passenger side of the C8 it seems very cramped and no room to put your elbows to rest as the driver will likely use the transmission tunnel to rest their elbow on. would be nice to get rid of the high mounted controls inside the car so it doesn't feel so claustrophobic

I like the "standard" wheels more than the 5 spoke which may be the carbon fiber which would be an expensive and fragile option. I too find the larger wing growing on me. I did see a rendering of a car with that wing and the artist has black trim and caps on it. Maybe an interesting idea. At least I would like to see it in a color like black to contrast from the body. Maybe it is a carbon fiber option as well. I think the large back end of these cars has me liking NO wing or spoiler. It is also a source of wind resistance. If not offered, I'm sure we would soon see some Z06's with the C8.R style wing from the aftermarket.

I like the low rear spoiler but like kinards & side skirtts.I think carbon ceramic brakes will be too expensive to maintain.

I like the base look better minus the front end...the base did seem to struggle in the turns out on the track though whereas the zo7 looked on point

Although I love all the aero on the superior model, I’m actually digging the wheels better on the standard model.

High wing is so 90’s...prefer lower profile

I just hope the flat plate is still a pushrod. Maybe it could also be supercharged, but I feel like that’s pushing it.

will it have wider body like for example the C7 z06 ? Or will it have the same dimensions like the base stingray?

I wish they offered the z07 package with steel brakes. Carbon ceramics are way over rated unless you race. I own a C7 Z06 with steel brakes and have tracked the z07 version with the carbon ceramics for two full days. They feel different but not better IMO and the difference in stopping power is minimal. More than anything the carbon ceramics are about their virtually non-existent brake fade that comes into play in racing. I have not had any fading issues with the massive steel brakes on the z06. For a typical track rat that goes out 3-5 20 minute sessions during a track day the carbon ceramics offer little additional benefit but the replacement cost for the rotors is insane. And if you track your car somewhat regularly you will have to replace them. In street driving they last forever but for that kind of driving they are pointless except that your rims stay clean longer. You can get the dustless braking by simply running different pads. I have more than one track buddy who regrets their carbon ceramics and would like to convert to steel. I have been told the conversion to steel on a Porsche GT3 will cost you $10k…

What's sad is... With the standard Vette's 60K base price being marked up to 100-120K... This supercar-like C8 Corvette Z06 will end up costing full-on supercar price.

The base Z06 has a cleaner rear spoiler keep the Sheriff off you longer
