Ja'Khi Douglas stepped up in the absence of two Biletnikoff Award candidate wide receivers with a career-high six catches for a career-best 115 yards. The defense held Pitt to 0-for-11 on 3rd-down conversion attempts, the first time holding a team without a successful 3rd-down conversion since 2016, and grabbed a season-high three takeaways. The defense, highlighted by takeaways from defensive backs Conrad Hussey and Fentrell Cypress II, allowed only a 41.7 completion percentage to hold a fourth consecutive opponent below 50 percent completions.
