Don't read the description before watching the video if you don't want to ruin the outcome of the game. It was yet another dominant defensive performance by the Carabins, as they didn't allow a touchdown in any of their postseason games, on their way to a 16-9 victory in the Canadian university football championship game. This is the Carabins' 2nd Vanier Cup victory in the school's history. The win also completes a Montreal sweep of the country's top football championships, as the Alouettes had defeated Winnipeg last week in dramatic fashion to win the Grey Cup.

@@montrealsports29 would you like to see Australian Rules in Canada? I found the 2023 AFLCanada Championship game recently :) Also looking into old Ice Hockey games, especially with the USSR :)

@@KangaKucha I'm not a huge fan of Aussie Rules Football, but it is an interesting sport. If you search enough on YT, you can find lots of old games. Have you ever seen the Montreal Canadiens vs. Central Red Army Dec. 31, 1975 game? Here it is: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/r9Znittq17qnZ6M.html A classic game, plus with the best ever hockey announcer, Danny Gallivan.

I hope he's a counselor and not a camper! Apparently, his first name is Etienne and his last name is Jacques. I had to look him up because his name wasn't familiar. He was the backup kicker last year and didn't actually play in any games.

@@montrealsports29 The Vanier Cup is merely a shadow of its former self.. The attendance is 1/4 of what it used to be and the TV ratings are 1/5th. Leaving TSN for Sportsnet in 2013 was the stupidest thing they ever did. Sportsnet kills every property they touch, other than n the Bllue Jays. In 2012 The Vanier Cup drew 37000 fans and over 1 milliin on TSN.. Now they barely get 5000 fans, and draw 150k on CBC

That's true. When they used to hold it at SkyDome, they usually had good crowds. And when they held it the same weekend at the site of the Grey Cup, that also increased its exposure. When TSN used to show Canadian university football on a regular basis, they promoted the game well. When it's a one-off game on a network that doesn't usually show that product, people aren't aware of it.
