I work 24 hours a week so I can get tuition reimbursement from work, and I get done with my NP program whenever I get done! This is how I had to do it to survive and feel like I'm able to do it all. I know you'll get balance back in your life, however that may look for you. You are an amazing and kind person, and a super mom, wife, nurse, and youtuber! You got this. I think it’s so great you’re going back to school. It can be so hard to get back into a school routine after you’ve been out of it, especially as an adult with other adult obligations. But I think you’ll be so glad you did it!!! Your home always looks so cozy and welcoming. And your kitties and just adorable!!! I have dogs and they’re up on our couches too. great video! yes, you can change ceiling heights when building, you may want to do a custom build. go to the place where they draw up plans. like the lumber yard. tell them what you want, room size, ceiling heights roof pitch, dormers, garage size. they can make your home look like the one in your picture, but inside can be pretty much how you want it. then when you chose your builder, ask them if you can shop for certain things on your own, for instance: ask the plumber if you can shop on line for your own faucets, shower heads, toilets and sinks. some will let you without a problem, some will try to tell you that if you buy something on line, that it will have inferior parts. that is always not true, then they offer to install their products, that can be twice the price of what you can buy somewhere else.

Two years ago we moved into a new house on a lake in Florida that I designed using a computer program called Chief Architect home Designer Suite. I highly recommend using such a program to really help you design the house you are dreaming about. We are very happy with the decisions we made. Since we have moved in, we have gradually added things such as a fenced yard, screen enclosure, concrete borders and decorative rock for the garden beds and many plants. Best of luck.

Tori, everything g looks great. Routines are important because it allows you to have time for other things. As for the future new house- put your money first in what you can’t see- electrical, CAT4 or 5 cable to all rooms, plumbing, HVAC, windows, roofing, insulation, well built framing and joists and foundation- do not skimp on that because that is your foundation for finish work. After what I call the no-see-um’s, focus on long term finishes like flooring & tile in the wet areas and stick to classic flooring g and tile because of you go what’s on trend, it’s extremely expensive to replace- I personally would avoid any wall-to-wall carpet because of kids and pets and just showing wear and tear sooner and again, a pain and expense to replace versus area rugs. Then move onto to cabinets- get the highest quality the budget allows. IF you have $ left in the budget, then look at stone for countertops and fireplaces, if you do a good laminate you can change to stone later when you can save for it. It’s the BONES of the house you need to put your $ towards before all the pretty stuff, which, again, you can upgrade for later. Plus, use the furniture and decor you already have to live in the new house and, again, you can add as you can afford it. Please do t get caught up in the surface stuff as the excitement and dreams of a newly built home can take you to overspending because what you see on the surface has to be “perfect” as soon as you move in. A good, solid package is more important Thant the surface stuff, as it decreases sudden repairs and the house settles slower than quick and cheap work and materials.

I think in your laundry room you may want to think about a sink, just from my experience. I also think they may have put the laundry room where they did because it comes down to the plumbing lines. Also, I wouldn't totally cut out a garage because you want to think about decor storage, kids bicycles, tractors and tools, if you're buying land as well. Unless you plan is to have a basement and then that will solve your storage issue. I just know that adding a garage later is way more expensive than doing it at the start of building. I mean like ten thousand or more. So, just some things to think about. Sorry my comment is so long. I keep adding as I'm watching..LOL. Oh, and I would definitely add a bathroom to the girls bedroom space..maybe a jack and jill bathroom because as they get older, they're going to want their own space. I'm not even a mom and I'm talking like I am..LOL. Sorry, I just find myself funny. 🤣😂 I think Crystal Tara also saved a lot of money by buying her light fixtures and like cabinet handles and mirrors off Amazon and had the builders install them and that saved her a lot of money. If I think of more, I will let you know..LOL!

I honestly can’t wait to remove the carpets we have and install hardwood flooring! Area rugs for the win! I like the herringbone style as well! So you don’t need a space to fold your laundry and storage for laundry supplies and to hang up clothing that you aren’t going to put in the dryer. What about storage for all your decor for the seasons? Will you have a basement or an easily accessible attic?
