I looked at a lot of comments last year when tennessee won. Ive seen countless bama fans congratulating tennessee on a great win. This year i havent seen one tennessee fan congratulating bama or even just saying good game. The next time you call bama fans classless just remember how tennessee fans acted after losing. That’s a great idea. That way it doesn’t force reds to make medical determinations. I suppose that’s why it’s not already a penalty. All Bama had to do was snap the ball and they had a 1st down…except the Vols signaled for a fake injury to get their defense out.

Ive been hearing a lot of crying about burton "kicking" a defender at 39:24 and after having watched that "kick" 5 or 10 times, that wasnt a kick it was a shove off. That shove off wasnt nearly as egregious as the punch to the helmet from UT to Bama. So folks can gtfo with that noise.

I wish Burton could control his temper. It could hurt his draft prospects. He got a key Unsportsmanlike call in another game, and almost had his second in the same game. He's an elite receiver but also a powderkeg waiting for a spark. He doesn't need to chirp when he makes a play, 106,000 fans plus the entire defense already saw it.

Here's a personal irritation and gripe: The absolute shit show of a "substitution" made by Tennessee at the 38 minute mark that forced alabama to burn a timeout is something that should go away. It essentially penalizes an offense for substituting players.

Go back and look at the stat for penalties in a game. Tenn. is tied in the country with 10 penalties per game. They are ranked 12th in the country with 69 yards per game. Also on the very first kickoff of the game the other receiver gave the signal for kick in the end zone, but it wasn't called that time. Go back and look at the first kickoff again.

Neither BAMA nor TN have luster when it comes to penalties. The teams you'd expect (known for discipline) lead the list with fewest penalties.
