Reliability remains my major concern for this otherwise very interesting auto, though that high center console looks like it'll box the driver's right leg in (just like Mazda CX-5). I wonder where their hybrid system came from?

Alfa Romeo Stelvios have been very reliable. This takes a lot from that, so not worried one bit about reliability.

@@AudaciousLex my bad, it’s actually an Alfa Romeo. From what I can find, if the Dodge is as reliable as the Alfa then it might be a decent car.

I love the design and direction that Dodge seems to be going in with the SUV but I can't go all in because of the constant remembrance of past reliability issues. I'll give it 2-5 years and see where this stands up.

Was the script in the bottom stripe "GLH". That's what it looked to me. GOES LIKE HELL!! That goes back many years ago. I think it was mid-eighties Omni GLH.

Why did Stellantis have to "borrow" all Alfa Romeo Tonale looks and features to create the Hornet. You can hardly tell the two vehicles apart. If you wanted to kill Alfa sales in the US, this would be a good way to do that.

Dodge reliability? Well here is a tidbit for you folks. My wife has a 13 journey which most hated. Powered by the 3.6 which has plenty of power. It has 251,000 miles and on 3rd set of tires! Mopar or no car!!

@@markpolacek7840 Yes and no. Stellantis took over Alfa when they bought FCA, but Alfa runs their own operation in Milan. I want Dodge to do their own thing, not steal designs/features from Alfa. Especially in the American market, Alfa is struggling, and giving Alfa products to Dodge doesn't help the situation.

It should offer the new hurricane engine, 280hp is about enough to get out of the way of a semi. Love the design otherwise

@Roger Sears I'm sure they have highly paid engineers to figure that out. They've shoved bigger engines in smaller bays before. Perhaps before saying such a bold statement, you should research the topic.

@@electronicfoxie Look Foxie, unlike you, I worked in the domestic auto industry as an automotive engineer for over 30 years. You don't package a large, inline 6-cylinder engine transversely in a small car; it won't fit.

@Roger Sears ok buddy, it's not like I can literally go into the internet and search production line vehicles that have engines fitted inside of them, people have shoved full sized cummins into chargers and v8 coyotes into ford hatchbacks. Go play pretend somewhere else

Nothing wrong with dodge. Manage an entire fleet of chargers, rams and jeeps. No issues. Ford, not so much.

It's 5.1 Seconds. There's a power boost button that drops it from 6.1 to 5.1 but you cam only use it for shirt bursts
