As of Jan 1 2023, Ducati raised the starting price of the existing Scrambler to Rs 9.39 lakh ex-showroom, which was a big hike from its price of Rs 7.99 lakh rupee price tag in 2022. Nevertheless, that means that the Scrambler 2G model will represent a further one lakh rupee price hike over the most affordable model in the existing Scrambler lineup

The explanation was spot on by autocar team . However Ducati doesn't seem to be interested in the Indian market , they may have to follow triumphs strategy in India.

Few superbikes with nice ground clearance and normal seat height. Price less than 10 lacs is best for it. May be this will be my next bike.

It doesn't make that much power relative to it's engine size, hence no need. What does liquid cooling have to do with anything? It's just a cooling mechanism. So according to you, all motorcycles should be liquid cooled? I think the manufacturers know more than us.

@@theunknown21329 this is the right mentality that is needed by the Indian consumers, so that brands can ignore Indian weather condition needs, and the fanboys will keep supporting. Yes, according to me, any motorcycle over 500cc should be having liquid cooling if it's meant for India. Having ridden the previous scrambler and monster 797 quite a bit I can also tell you, they heat up quite a bit on traffic. With version 2 the prices will for sure go up, sad to see liquid cooling not incorporated. And no manufacturers knowledge has nothing to do with it. They design the bike for Europe/ USA, they don't care about the Indian customer where only a handfuls of these will be sold anyways.

Air cooled engines are simple, and that's what Scramblers are known for. Simple bikes which can do a lot. But it's not made for India, and they know it. In India it's just a showpiece.
