We love going around in the car looking at the lights !! We usually make hot chocolate and drive around! We did a Santa train a few wks ago & that was awesome !! We went to my mom’s job at a nursing home this wk and saw Santa and that was amazing! He took his time talking to my 3 kids and it was so fun!🎅🏻

oh and after my husband and i got covid our daughter got sick to.it was crazy.so now my parents are finally conig and ive been cleaning now i can chill and just do a little light cleaning.prayers from our family to yours.merry christmas

Glade you all are feeling better ! So I’ve always put our gifts under tree before and then save Santa’s for Christmas Eve night ! I’ve also noticed that with having Christmas decor out I try and keep things picked up or it looks cluttered with all the decorations there’s just a lot going on and can seem overwhelming! After Christmas once everything is put away I like to deep clean and it feels so good because there is no decorations and it’s nice ! I mean for the past 4-5 months it’s fall , Halloween , thanksgiving and Christmas so it’s nice to relax ☺️

I have a load of laundry in my dryer now! I did it at like 6am! But haven’t been home since dropping my kids off for the bus at 830! Making a ham dinner tonight so it’ll be put away before I cook! I don’t ever leave laundry in the dryer when I cook! Lol My family room isn’t big and now add the Christmas tree ! I feel like it’s shrunk haha So my family room feels smaller right now haha We’re big blanket family so there’s always blankets to fold hahaha❤

In our house Santa’s present is unwrapped but we only do one Santa present and it’s not one of their “bigger” gifts but it is something that is on their Christmas lists. We wrap our presents as they come in or as we buy them but we don’t put them under our tree until Christmas Eve ❤

In our house Santa does NOT wrap his presents! When I was a little girl waking up to presents left out from Santa was sooooo exciting. I have carried that tradition on with my girls! They absolutely love it. Presents from Mom and Dad are wrapped under the tree as soon as possible to enjoy during the month. So much fun ❤️

I'm glad you guys are doing a little better I know what you mean about feeling terrible and your house feels like its falling apart my husband and I had COVID over Thanksgiving so after thanksgiving I had to do a crazy clean up it's not fun but it feels so much better when it's clean

I’ve started considering Christmas lights disposable after one year. They just do not last anymore at all, and I wouldn’t be surprised if that was on purpose. But, my grandparents Christmas lights from the 60s still work! So it’s true, they don’t make things like they used to!

Hey Friend, Happy Saturday. Yes I agree the kitchen is the place that I get the most overwhelmed as well. Thrive market sounds like a great grocery store to buy from. I might check it out just to see if that could be a possible option for me and my family. So for thrive market do you have to purchase a membership and then Pay for the groceries as well (sorta like Sam’s club but online)? My favorite Christmas traditions are baking, decorating my Christmas tree, driving or looking around at the Christmas lights. I know when I have kids I will keep their interests above mine but I’m sure they will like the same things that I do as well. ❤

Hi Lauren, I hope you and your family are getting to feel better and you seem to be in a festive Christmas mood! You can tell by the way you’re home is decorated and how excited you are about Oliver and Will and the things that y’all are celebrating Christmas with parades and going to Branson I just wanted to let you know how my husband and I presented our gifts to our children. When they were young, we put gifts under the tree from us and the family, but Santa Claus came and unwrapped everything in the boxes and put them under the tree, and then he left notes to the kids on their gifts that he had left under the tree taken out of the boxes and he left those on the gifts And a little sweet note to that child and also we played a game where I had the baby Jesus in the manger and the kids had to find it before they could go and eat their Christmas breakfast and finish playing with their toys that Santa had left on the tree, also, my children did not want to sit down and eat a formal Christmas dinner, so on Christmas Eve every year, when my children were small, I prepared for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and put it out on the dining room table on the breakfast bar and the counters in the kitchen and I had drinks available for them and so they would play with their toys and then they run in the kitchen or the dining room and snack, but I would cook and bake all day Christmas Eve and then at midnight. My husband and I would get the Santa Claus items out and I’m box them and put them under the tree and then I would write the cute little notes and I would change my handwriting to look like Santas, my kids were thrilled to know that Santa had written them a note, but I also wrote on the notes that to wish Jesus a happy birthday that came first! I know that you and Will will come up with a beautiful fun filled traditions for Oliver and his future siblings, merry Christmas, Lauren, and Oliver

For Christmas we have a few big things for santa that go out on Christmas morning and the other stuff is wrapped from mom and dad. I like it better than way because some kids are not able to get as much as Walker and I don't want anyone to ever think, why didn't santa bring us as much as him? Also my friend does 3 big gifts from santa for each kid to represent the presents the 3 kings brought to baby Jesus which is a great thing to teach the Littles. We also have a birthday party on Christmas eve where we bake a cake and sing happy bday to Jesus so he understands the true meaning of Christmas and know its not just about santa bringing him a bunch of stuff. I love it. It's a tradition we have done every year since he was born and he is 6 now

so my husband and i like to order from amazon and when my daugjter is at school i wrap her stuff that way on christmas eve i can just put her stuff under the tree.that seems easier my daughter is almost 12 so i keep wondering how much longer do i have till shes like i know you got me this stuff.oh well thats why we enjoy what weve got while we got it .

I’m Italian do we celebrate Christmas Eve seven fishes. Christmas Eve for my children years ago and now for my grandson who is going to be 3. Christmas Eve they open 1 gift it’s Santa Jammie’s, we watch a Christmas movie, and set out Santa’s cookies we made cut outs and milk plus Santa’s special key so he knows where to bring gifts. Santa presents are put together batteries in everything and if need wrapped it’s special paper.
