Kaleidos was lowkey the disappointment of the yearr 😩😩 not bc they have bad stuff. Just that they went from extraterrestrial space magic vibes to dusty granola oat meal lol. I have a total of 56 palettes in my collection and i love watching collection and declutter videos bc it shows me im not alone in my obsession and enthusiam! Kaleidos still has the Escape pod palette which I LOVE, but I agree that they need to go back to doing fun colorful palette AND go back to those space themes!

I'm so sad about kaleidos too. I just commented the same thing on Angie's palette video. I used to love them and their colorful vibes. I get they need some neutrals but that's all they do now. And it's annoying they won't bring back Lazer glazer. Everyone wants it. It's the only color in their line up that they dont have. It just makes sense. I truly hope they start to catch my eye again. 😢😢😢

I dont really get what they are doing over there. Barely any releases and the few they have are mostly neutrals. I do have to say I really like the glosses from the last collection..I even like the newer blushes (not as much as the older ones) bc they work for my pale skin but they are also lacking variety. I hope colorful kaleidos comes back soon 😢

I'm sooooo bitter about them discontinuing so many things I want, then having them sold out on the website for months just to discontinue it too 🙄 I wanted to try them so badly but couldn't afford to, and when I could almost everything I wanted was gone and now I'm so bitter I refuse to buy from them even though I know I'd love their lippies 😂🫣

I like the Chucky palette color story but didn’t buy it because Chucky has given me nightmares, so I’m scared of the packaging as ridiculous as that sounds. 😂 I just did my palette declutter and got rid of 19 palettes! I might get rid a a few more before the end of the year. I’m going to do seasonal declutters or at least do them 3 times a year.

After my own declutter I have 15 eyeshadow palettes! (I never had more than 30-40 or so but I was ruthless this year). Also, even though it doesn’t matter, I was excited to see that all of the ones that we both own you also decided to keep!

Do ppl really complain when you declutter a palette that ur not vibing with when they love it? I don't get that...everyone has a different makeup style and u are entitled to ur own opinion! We have different eyeshadow styles but I still love ur videos! 💜

I don't even own it, but I'm so glad the Dragonfruit Clionadh palette made it through another declutter. It's so gorgeous!! Currently, have 32 palettes, but I have 7 coming in the post.... wow, don't tell my partner! I recently took my Metamorphosis palette by Lethal on holiday with me, so I guess that's my fav atm. 😘🦂🍭🌋🔫

❤ I love your declutter. It’s good to watch these because I get a better understanding of why you like some things more than others and compare the similarities and differences of my preferences as well. I can be more objective when you say how good a formula is over a color story. I have a number of palettes you kept but you love a grungier color story so I never bought many of the palettes you have. For me it’s becoming who has the best of a color I want to use. I have so many palettes that I want to just play with the best of these days.. What I would love to see are comparisons of similar color stories by different brands.

I literally don’t own a single coulour pop anymore. My collection used to be majority colourpop and last summer when my sister came for a visit I gave her all my remaining colourpop and I haven’t missed any of them.

I also love Huda Beauty Mercury Retrograde, ColourPop Stone Cold Fox (the Magnetic Moon shadow is my all time favorite). I've been loving Odens Eye Jewels and Gem palette. I also really love Violet Voss Wild Dahlia.

I love seeing everyone’s collections! When I started out with makeup I did make purchases that were not right for me, and I eventually cleared those out. But now I am more selective about the collection I have, so I am keeping what I love. However I do understand the need to reset-I am an artist and every year at this time I have to gut out my little bedroom studio to clear away and make room for new projects in the new year. But being an artist is my job, I just collect makeup and fountain pens. Weird.

I travel with All I ever Wanted Vol 2 because it allows me to transform another palette so many ways. It’s a great companion to a Blend Bunny palette on a long trip. Please use the Blueberry Muffin palette in a new video-I love that palette sooo much. Every time I find one at Marshall’s or TJ Max I buy it so I can give it to someone else! The Kaleidos turn makes me sad-and their new web design is equally boring! Thanks for doing this for us!! 🔪☔️🐙

Norn's is one of the palettes I actually want to replace with the new formula. There aren't many palettes I love enough to spend the extra on to do that but Oden's Eye formula is just so nice! And I really loved the old palette, so really want it in the new formula. Although you mentioned another reformulated palette, I can't remember which palette from which brand, might have been Blendbunny, so now I may have to rewatch to refresh my memory because it was another I'd consider. (Even though I am behind on my collection of BB by a couple palettes!) I did pass on the new OE christmas palettes, i have the original two, and told myself I'll order the new Norn's soon instead.

I recently got Melt's Twentyseven and the Dark Matter palette that is a riff off of the OG stack. They are both gorgeous. Twentyseven is the perfect warm palette and the undertones are so .... Melt! Also awaiting the Fatally Yours, should be here any day now!

I agree about Kaleidos, after the collection with the velvety purple packaging I think they shouldve kept and expanded their futurism palettes, or maybe do 9-12 pans or something. I dont buy super colourful eyeshadow palettes, but I also never buy totally neutral palettes, so I feel like they need that mix inbetween, where its not too boring but also appeal to ppl who like more muted makeup. I have Sashimi city and Flowing haze and bought them when most of the Futurism palettes were gone, I still want something more interesting

I find that the futurisms were really that for me too. Neutrals with a twist, some pops of colors and a crazy formula. I really miss that era.

Saw a lot of favorites in there. I noticed you don't have and Notoriously Morbid palettes. Have you ever tried them? They are one of my top brands. Some complain about the shipping time, but they make their shadows in house, not private label like most, and they are so worth the wait. I'd love to see you try them. Other top brands are Bellabeautebar, Ensley Reign, Nomad, Odens Eye, Fantasy Cosmetica, and on the other end, I love my Pat McGrath and Natasha Denona LOL! Great video! You got rid of some my completionist heart stopped a few times. 😂😂

Also would you ever be interested in doing project pans so that you could get more use and be excited about certain palettes again? I think those videos would be so fun of you focusing on certain palettes in a month and creating different looks!

I keep my palette count at 100. Yes, it is A LOT but I have gotten down to all my faves and I just CAN'T part with any of them! Now the challenge is, not buying any more next year. ugh

I'm at 200 and preparing for a no buy next year. I have a ton of singles that I'm hoping to use to "dupe the vibes" of new releases next year. I'm hoping that keeps my FOMO in check.

Have you talked to Shroud Cosmetics recently? They "released" their new palette, Dark Academia. I say it in quotes because it was released 4 weeks ago and haven't heard anything since. I ordered on launch day, received my order confirmation and that was it. I've emailed them multiple times, posted on their IG, sent DMs - no response to anything. Has she done this before? I ordered your first palette with them last year before you launched your second palette. I received it without issue. What is going on now?

I didn’t buy the dark academia palette but I saw a comment in one of badtothebrow videos that she and the commentator were having the same experience. I hope you have at least heard back from the brand by now. It makes me wary to buy from them in the future.

@@celestecelestial90 I still haven't heard from them. I ended up doing a chargeback on my credit card. I have received provisional credit. I'm still waiting for my case to close. My credit card said they would have to provide proof that they shipped it for them to win the case. They can't provide that proof since I have never heard from them, other than automated emails. I sent my credit card copies of all the emails that I have sent that have gone unanswered. I am never going to order from them again. This is the epitome of awful customer service.

@@amandaperry4328I ordered Dark Academia when it launched before Black Fridag and haven't heard anything since. I've sent multiple emails, IG DMs, etc. It's so frustrating. If she's overwhelmed, then she should hire someone.

I am so upset at kaleidos too, it's upsetting to see them take on a more Asian makeup style which makes me sad. They were my favorite brand. Oh I hope they come back stronger. 😘💜
