Right now there is a recall on Broncos, engines are blowing up 😂🔥
@robertmorin6495 Жыл бұрын
Where did you get that information? Here's all I found from Car and Driver website I have pasted the article below: NHTSA's Office of Defects Investigation is looking into complaints that owners' 2021 Ford Bronco SUVs suddenly stopped running and would not restart. The cause is believed to be a possible valve defect in the 2.7-liter EcoBoost engine, which is standard on the 2021 Bronco Wildtrak and optional on most other models. The safety agency received three separate petitions in March 2022 requesting the investigation, which could lead to a recall if the results warrant one. The ultra-popular Ford Bronco is now being investigated for a possible recall after 32 owners complained that their 2021 model SUVs stopped running suddenly and would not restart. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's Office of Defects Investigation is currently at the stage of reviewing three separate petitions filed in March asking for an investigation into the issue. told Car and Driver in a statement: "We are aware of a select number of engines with this concern and we are investigating. If any customers are experiencing issues, they will be covered under the vehicle's five-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty. We will cooperate with the NHTSA as we always do." NHTSA says 25,538 Broncos are potentially affected, although there is no recall on the horizon at this point. Owners can check the NHTSA recalls site to see if their vehicle becomes subject to a recall. I read this as NO RECALL. So ...what are you talking about? Probably just a bunch of pissed off Jeep lovers complaining or trying to disparage Ford in my opinion.

@@02hreblue30 While that is true, the 392 also has more support in general being a Wrangler. Literally the most aftermarket parts you could think of, and it is also smaller so it can get into more places. The one thing it's missing is a stick shift option. Otherwise you've still got the much cheaper 4XE to think about as well, or just a Rubicon with a V6. The engine is worth the extra money, why do you think people pay 10K plus for diesels in the new HD trucks? Edit: I'm pretty sure my jab at the price there at the end was pointed at dealership markups which is a problem for both just even more so for the Bronco.

My little sister got a Badlands last year after I.... crashed her Fiat (long story and I was understood and forgiven). It's the street version, but damn is that thing a fantastic drive, and MASSIVE! She already hit objects (cart holders in parking lots, other cars etc) when she got it, due to it being her first SUV. She didn't use the front camera until I showed her that she had one. I'm actually trying to save to get one now. 2 door with a manual though.

The reason the exhaust is tucked up and hidden is for rock crawling purposes so you do not crush them from rocks.

@@pinut187 in the video he said he wished they the exhaust system more cosmetic and didn’t understand why they simply had the exhaust cut off high up which led to my explanation. The law about vehicle lights in the USA is so backwards. In almost every country, orange lights on the outside of a car means turn signals, so do the lights placed in the mirrors. Also, in the USA, rear blinkers can be red. That bugs me to no end.
@Sheridantank2 жыл бұрын
It's not nearly as difficult as you make it sound. You seriously have trouble telling brakes from turn signals while driving? Or just overthink it?
@LGaragem2 жыл бұрын
@2 Corinthians 4:7-11 Yes, I kinda understand the "simpler" design on very old cars, where you would have less bulbs to worry about. But on modern cars with light clusters that always have space for more bulbs, it just doesn't make sense.

Ford should put a screen on the inside of the tailgate that fills in the spot blocked by the tire and the brake light.

That'd probably cost way too much for what it's worth.

If they were to release a solution I think they’d offer a backup camera toggle for the center screen or offer a digital rear view mirror. The second one is unlikely but I wouldn’t put it past Chrysler to consider. They already have digital rearviews and idk about ford

After 3 years of ownership and the standard 36k miles, both this and the 392 Jeep will hold their value better than most import cars at the same price point
@depressedpumpkin72902 жыл бұрын
With dealer markups, this vehicle is right around $100,000. Right off the bat, it's not economically viable for 95%+ of Americans. It's too expensive to consider using it for it's intended purposes, outdoors, offroading, camping. And even if you want to use it as that, it lacks the reliability, control and low end torque capabilities of a naturally aspirated V8 and manual trans. A late 1960s Bronco is just as capable and that was like 6 months salary of an average joe when it came out.

Nailed it. I was going to get a Braptor. Was first on list at my dealer. But after off-roading my Bsdlands SAS many times. I can’t justify how wide the Raptor is. Many trails we do, my Badlands barely fits. Being wider would be a huge problem.
@myrrhavm2 жыл бұрын
You’re correct. Mini/mid size trucks have taken over the trails long with the side by side so brush has grown in making them narrower.
@burgerbandit36462 жыл бұрын
Don't forget guys, the Raptor name is *BAJA* related. The Bronco Raptor is more suited to Baja type offroading while still being a somewhat reasonable trail runner. Hence why it's so wide.
