Could you go explain what the tow technology package is ? More specifically what the smart hitch removal is. Im love the cams and safty stuff but do I need the scales and smadt hitch removal to get them. Please forgive my ignorance.

What i am more interested in is ford is working on a range extender unit as big as a cargo cross tool bar case. There is a generator and a gas tank inside that powers your lighting. Imagine getting a pro and getting the range extender generator. U don't need more heavier batteries

Can you clarify payload when max tow and 4x4 for Xlt vs lariat vs platinum? Trying to decide if lightning will work for my needs. Also, does all terrain tires impact payload?

Can we get updates on E-Transit 2023 builds and time line?

I'm planning on getting a strong lockable powered remote controlled retractable tonneau cover. Luckily since it's a 3rd party item it won't hold up production for me. It will be plenty more expensive, though. I think it was about $2,000 on Amazon. What saddens me a little though is that I noticed Ford started adding all sorts of extra add-on items for the 2022 year model, but haven't done so yet for the 2023 year model. I want the window rain deflectors, the chrome inlay decal that fits in the stamped "F150" indent in the tailgate, and some other items. I also want to be able to mount a power winch to the front of my truck when I get it. I'm just concerned that the cooling system air intake won't let me do it.

I'm kind of glad that Ford decided to make the mobile charger optional. I found on Amazon a Shell (of the oil company fame) for just about exactly the same price (something like $2 difference) with a little longer cable for more reach if you need it and another 10 amps it can flow to the truck for a little faster charging. So, ultimately for the same price 3rd party charger that's a bit better.

Is it worth it to get the lariat over xlt ?

I just heard that Fird raised the price of the new Lightning which negates all the federal solar tax savings attached to their purchase. I have a reservation to purchase one of these new trucks but fat chance I will be able to afford to purchase one.

I still do not understand what On-Board Scales "Removal" means. I have seen articles saying that it means Ford's no longer providing On-Board Scales due to supply/chip shortage and I have heard from other sources that it means you cannot remove the option because it's standard on all trims. But when I look at the Build site it says "included on Lariat Platinum. available on Pro XLT..." Now you say it's "required" to add it but what does that mean? Does "adding" the option mean you're "removing" the option??? That's so confusing.

I tried to order a flash lightening from you but Bill never followed through with my order. Don't know why?

Tim. I ordered a 23 Lightning Pro August 11. The Ford site said I will receive it Fall of 2023! All the other trims say Fall of 2022. Any idea why it will take so long?
