Me and the moppers decided to spend over an hour playing with the new furby.

The other ones are "I love you" and bad furby or I hate you because my brother yelled fuck you to mine and it got sad and there is something for it to strike a pose for a picture I just say good furby

OK here’s my opinion on this particular one. Yes, it’s nice to see a new Furby again, but did they really have to disclose the mouse movement? I also kind of liked having the app because you could give the Furby names at one point. I don’t believe the eyes light up. And that thing says Besty way too much! It kind of got crunchy after a while lol. I don’t know if it’s worth the 70 bucks but hey maybe I’ll go for it. I do like how they brought back the hey, Furby thing. I can’t believe you can’t tilt it upside down or anything like that anymore without it turning off. I am visually impaired, so I don’t know everything that moves on it but it’s interesting that the feet move again. This literally reminds me of an 05 for being away, at the same time, a connect, at the same time an Amazon, Alexa or a Google home thing lol. I don’t even wanna speak up on the heart jam 😔 I meant gem. Like why? One more thing before I send this thing. In the Furbies defense maybe they just do the shut off thing to save battery?

I have mixed feelings on this. For the things I like: you don't need any kind of app, the ears finally do something, the songs are generally ok and it still farts. Now, will the overly cute design, lack of advanced features, heavily condenced Furbish, lack of moving mouth, dodgy voice activation and terrible interaction make it valued among anyone who knows how a Furby works? I don't think so. Like, we're in 2023 and we have advanced technology, and this is what companies give us? One theory I have is that this new Furby is a test run for something better, to see if Furbies will still sell to the masses. And I hope they do because I want to see something as advanced as the connect again. We can only wait...

It’s really sad seeing most robots having less efforts put into them compared to back then, and now it’s sadly even impacted the Furbies. Now they go backwards with Furbies, like how it feels with most robots that are released now. It’s really disappointing. Besides the new Aibo, all the robots I’m interested in are from at least a decade ago

Sadly, Connect was a commercial failure and one of the reasons is it was too expensive, they cut corners with this new one but they cut too many corners. The moving beak should never have gone away. Even the fake furbies had a moving beak. This is such a downgrade.

@@TheStOne1 I actually thought the new Furby was a knock off from a different company when I first saw it, I guess that tells you something. They even decided to make it some kind of weird looking girly thingy instead of a cute, fun Furby for everyone. With them only appealing to girly girl now for some reason, and with the price being ridiculous for how cheap and boring it looks, I don’t expect it to sell more than the Connect did

@@TheStOne1Yeah, the reason why the Furby Connects didn’t do well as Hasbro hoped was not only because of the poor sales of the costs, but the glitches, and the popularity of it being so-so. It’s honestly kinda sad as the Furby Connects could’ve been one of the best Furby models to have, considering the fact that it has improved features like colorized LCD eyes (that are expressive), good life-like movements, is Bluetooth-compatible, and so much more. Even the Furby Connect World app was really awesome with all the Furblings and stuff you can do in it along with playing with the Furby Connect while in the app. It’s also sad that Hasbro promised us that they’ll keep updating the Connects more and more like introducing the shower feature and the Furbling Pole, but they sadly broke the promise. The Furby Connects were also gonna have personalities along with the current one they each have, but they ended up unfinished or scrapped as I think they were rushed into production tbh

I saw the commercial for these…..Since when are they only marketed at girls? That thing is literally a girl’s toy. The ones from the 90’s were clearly for everyone. I take one look at that one, girls toy

The 2012s are for everyone too, those are my favorites. Never liked specifically "for girls" toys so makes sense I don't like the new one's design...

Yeah, purple is not a recommended color for everyone.... unless you are an ARMY. Then you do you. I prefer a red orange or gold for all because not all girls like female colors like pink and purple.

@@donpenny2823 I can confirm I’m a girl who never liked “girlish” and pink things very much. I do have a few things that happen to be pink but was due to other colors not being available or I just tolerate it, it’s not my preference. My first Furby ever was a blue 2012 because that’s my favorite color, also it’s a very commonly liked color. Purple is cool though, and it looks great in galaxy artwork like what’s on my New 3DS XL. But I really don’t like the rather ugly girly design on these 2023 Furbies.

@@Aibodogs I agree. Some of my friends used to like girlish things, but now like things for everyone. Female children sometimes play with NERF guns. Boys sometimes play with dolls. Dosent matter. I allow them. What does bother me though is the fact that all these massive companies are now turning to girls to market their products. I rarely see boys in them. They so it's "to make diversity" but I want quality, and all those massive company ads are the same nowadays.
