My Harley is a boat on two wheels, but once she's rollin ,she's easy and smooth,but your right,they're heavy as hell. The price is nothing to sneeze at either,but the thing is once you take the plunge and buy one,it's like nothing else. You keep thinking, " but the payment", then you ride and think " fuckit ! ".

Stock exhaust doesn’t sound Harley, set of freedom pipes and a cam and it sounds like a Harley, probably good for another 20 odd horsepower too! Beautiful bike, love mine!!

I was a hd h8t until i bought one, boy was i wrong! Came from bmw, on my 2nd hd, currently riding a road glide limited 114.😊 im hooked!❤

First 🥇 thing I am going to do when I get my new HD FatBoy 124 (Vivid Black) for my birthday on August 8th is change the exhaust to some Vance and Hines pipes. There's an awesome pair of Vance and Hines, but I heard that they discontinued them. What a shame!

I love the fat boy! I’m going to buy mine soon. Already rode it and I’m in love. But the price tag is nuts!! I would say that the price seems fair but all the extra fees are INSANE!! And unnecessary. Taking advantage of customers for sure

Guy rolled up on a HD in a parking lot of Taco bell where I was just leaving and we talked about his bike for a while, come to find it was about 15 years old and he'd just bought it, and he sure was proud of it, he'd spent a few grand for it and a couple of grand to get it in riding shape and other than just a few more things to fix he was making good progress. I was curious and asked what oil he ran in it and I was surprised when he said straight 50....do you run straight 50 in HDs?

Having a windshield or fairing is not the case for every rider. I rode a CB750 over 220 miles each way with none of that stuff, yeah my hair was messed up but nothing a little water couldn't fix.I got a Street Glide 8 years ago and I like having that stuff but I don't need it to ride.

LOVED the HD Fatboy since it came out in 1990. Even before Arnold made it famous in "Terminator" series! Buying a new 2023 HD Fatboy 114 (Vivid Black) on my birthday August 8th of this year. The price here is about $8,000 more than in the USA. But I'm not worried about the price. 😊 Had a 1991 HD Low Rider Custom (Wine-berry Pearl Coat paint job) that I had to sell when I left for a contract to fly as a Test Pilot in Colombia South America. If you're worried about the price, then you aren't a real Harley Davidson man. No offense!

LOL 🤣 I cannot believe you are paying $15,000 USD more than the states. Ughhhh 😣 I thought I had it bad! I will just shut up now! LOL 😀 But you know what, that just shows how much having a Harley Davidson means to US. It's not just a material thing to us, it's a name that has stood the test of time and not just in World War I and II. It's been said that only unsavory characters rode Harley Davidson motorcycles (ex: Hell's Angels), but it proved to be a motorcycle that was loved by some of the most influential people, military people, career professionals, normal middle class people, etc.,. and honestly, it's history is an amazing story. This will be my second Harley Davidson, although my last one was a 1991 Harley Davidson Low Rider Custom (Wine-berry Pearl Coat paint job) that I sold before I went to fly internationally with the Department of State (DOS)/Colombian Army for the "Drug Interdiction Program" in Melgar (Tolemeida), Colombia South America as a test pilot in January 2003. The Fatboy is the bike I have been wanting since it came out in 1990, even before my boy Arnold made it famous in Terminator. LOL 🤣 The price you have to pay is outrageous, but I was going to buy a Fatboy when I was in Bogota, Colombia South America, but the price was $43,000 USD. SERIOUSLY! I was going to buy it, but my Toyota Prado Land Cruiser was stolen out of my garage $34,000 gone in a flash) and I said that was not going to happen again. Fat boy is badass but 2 me the V rod Muscle is king this is my opinion ...now all HD u gotta Hook it up aka customize it Now know a lot of ppl don't like the v rod but u gotta admit that mechanically v rod is the best. They need 2 bring it back & upgrade it don't u agree? enuff said

The main reason we don’t see many of Fat Boy on the road is: Fat Boy are only good on Straight Lines * Not made for Road you have to Turn \ Sharp Corners, never heard from any reviews where the riders aren’t complaining about handling The Tiers are too Flat Just like the original Sportster Roadster Tires Changing to the right Tiers makes it to a Much more enjoyable Ride - Not only in a Straight Line

Might be a bit heavy for a beginner.I worked up from 2 diff sportsters to a wide glide to a Fat Boy.

It is a very comfortable bike. You will need to buy risers for the bars though. It would make it much more comfortable

Doesn't sound near as good as the one in the movie Terminator 2. Also, the headlight on the Fat Boy in the movie looked so much better. I wonder if there's a fairly easy way to put an old style headlight on the new Fat Boy?

I bought a 2024 in sharkskin blue add a set of screaming eagle canons and a sundowner solo seat and a few other bits after a 220 mile ride on the weekend i think i will get a screen but i don’t know which one i hear the buffeting thing isn’t great so if anyone’s got a recommendation it would be appreciated .
