I have been looking forward with eagerness to see Martha perform again after the pandemic, as she had few appearances over the last couple of years - and what a performance it is! Ma-gi-cal!!! At 82 she is going as if there's no stopping! Martha is a power-house and a legend - and we love her for her lifetime of creativity, talent and inspiration! When I started learning music in the early 1980s, there was no KZfaq and my tutors at school and college would play vinyl disks and there would be a queue to borrow them. I so admire the world out there now - so much is available to students of music now - just within a finger's reach: videos, sound, sheet music - you name it! Dear Will Liang - you have my deepest gratitude for sharing Martha's performances - a heart-felt reminder that talent can change the world through music and art! Most grateful - and please do carry on!

Only from listening to her honesty and total devotion to bringing the composer’s intentions through her mind and body have I come to understand the deep appreciation for Vladimir Horowitz that Martha possesses. If he only had known, he would have accepted her as his pupil. All of her recordings bring tears to my face and love to my heart. The Jews of Argentina have given us all a pathway to humanity 🙏🏻❤️🎼🎹

It's so outstanding how orchestral even the piano introduction sounds before the real orchestra starts. Martha is a living legend and simply the best and "last romantic"! She was taught by Friedrich Gulda and Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli....

So eine tolle Aufzeichnung von einem wundervollen Konzert. Diese kraftvolle und schöne Persönlichkeit spielt so sensibel und filigran. (Die Frage nach Alter und Geschlecht ist völlig obsolet.) Welch phantastische Musikerin Martha Argerich ist, kann man hören, wenn sie begleitet.

I watch this concert live on KZfaq last week and can’t believe the lucky we are in Argentina to have this artist and this theatre. But it was not only that, the Festival Argerich has been consistently better year after year. Before the pandemic I was incredibly fortunate to assist to a concert with Marta playing Tchaikovsky’s concert with Baremboim conducting, but the orchestra was the Divan, but now the musicians are mostly Argentinian and the quality is also very high.

I cant imagine how difficult it must be to play the piano at this age with some arthritis in the hands and maybe some memory loss. Such a wonderful performance. Amazing . I hope she continues in good health and spirit for more years.

The Choral Fantasia is probably my favourite work by Beethoven. This is a stunning performance, muscular and not effete by some weak “period” band. Bravo to pianist, conductor and orchestra - a triumph.

I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to perform in this piece as the Baritone soloists at Alice Tully Hall many years ago. Beethoven is truly astounding, and Madame Argerich is equally amazing and remarkable.

Este Concierto fue en el Teatro Colón de Buenos Aires, donde ella realiza un Festival que lleva su nombre ocurrió este año. Siempre ha venido con frecuencia. Tiene otras actividades culturales. Aquí nuestro Teatro convoca a público de todos los países. Prometió venir el próximo año. Trae con ella músicos. Yo tengo la misma edad de ella y la amo realmente. ♥️

She is so amazing, and I'll never forget the concert with BerlinPhil and Barenboim as conductor and then both together with Bizet Jeux d'enfants.Barenboim was really ill,but now he's well off.
