Its more realistic because you know real life situations dont start off on the side of a straight highway (maybe sometimes) and damn well no red light intersection with speed limit of 60

To the people that say this car is too slow: 🤡 Accords were never designed to be race cars. They were meant to be reliable and safe family sedans. Let’s remember the accord was never meant to be a Camaro.

Small engine in the hybrid doesn't matter, a bigger engine wouldn't matter. The gas engine only keeps the electric engine charged. The car drives off the electric engine/transmission.

@@letssee9 also, the statement that the gas engine only keeps the electric battery or electric motor charged is incorrect. The gas motor does drive the car while the electric motor acts as a boost for the gasoline motor. This is how most if not just about all hybrid systems work.

Whether its base or a 2.0 hybrid, both have similar 0-62 mph (0-100 km/hr) which is a lot slower than previous gen 2018 - 2022 Honda Accords

I don’t care about the problems people say this engine has. I’ll buy a Honda over a Toyota any day.
@rinamarie7510 ай бұрын
Why is that? I’m genuinely curious. I am so conflicted between them.
@16190john10 ай бұрын
@@rinamarie75 Toyota fans will probably come for my throat in the comments but this is just my opinion. To start Honda treats their customers 10x better than Toyota does. Honda is also a much smaller company than Toyota this plays into their customer appreciation. This is just my personal experience. Also, honda is the number one engine manufacturer in the world. Motorcycle engines, boat engines, car engines, dirt bike and quad engines, machinery motors and so on. They really know how to build a good engine. They’ve corrected just about all the problems the 1.5l engines had. This is because they’re really good about perfecting their technology overtime. Toyotas are ugly. Look at a 2024 Corolla Cross next to a 2024 Honda hrv. The Honda HRV is just a better looking sportier and more visually appealing car. The styling of the new honda SUVS and sedans blow the Toyota’s designs out of the water. Toyota also has always been super poor in regards to their technology. It’s always 2-3 years behind their competition. Toyota also marks up their new cars way more than honda does. If you want a RAV-4 you’re going to pay way more for a mid level rav4 after all their mark ups than you would a honda CRV with more options and tech. I have a 2024 Honda HRV sport and a 2023 Honda accord EX. I’ve owned 7 Hondas. A 1998, a 2001, a 2003, a 2007, a 2018, and now a 2023 & a 2024. All the older Honda I owned all had between 200k miles all the way to 550k miles. None have EVER broken down on me, left me stranded, or had any major repairs. You take care of a Honda and a Honda will take care of you. The ONE Toyota I had came with a stack of maintenance records and after two months threw an engine rod on me and went straight to the scrap yard. In my opinion Honda makes better engines and Toyota makes better transmissions. You really can’t go wrong with either one as far as reliability goes I just probably had one bad Toyota experience. it’s just about which brand you like better. If you buy a Honda and don’t want to worry about ANY extra maintenance I would stick with a second generation Honda HRV 2.0l. Honda makes the best 2.0l non turbo engine in the entire world. It’s the Honda Civic engine. If you want a sedan I would stick with a Honda Civic LX with the 2.0l engine. I like the HRV better because the new ones only come with a 2.0l engine even if you go fully loaded.

@@16190johndang bro wrote a college essay 😂 nah I agree Hondas are great cars and very similar in many aspects to Toyota.
