Every Type R will do this, even the unfairly underrated FN2. As soon as it's a bit damp, it will slide all day. I'm glad that character remains in a modern chassis as well.

The most dangerous car I’ve ever driven is an ep3 with an upgraded rear arb, dodgy tyres and overly stiff suspension. I was basically full lock every single corner trying to correct the ridiculous slides it would do on turn in. In the dry is amazing though

Remove pressure in the tyres and your oversteer will diminish, what brake fluid you running as normally we get 10 to 15 minutes before brake fade with endless or motul 650 fluid.

It's lift-off oversteer. FWD experience a lot of it because all of the weight is in the front. Once you lose speed by braking or even just lifting off the throttle while entering the corner, it's going to try and do a spin. Performance FWD cars might have even more because of stiffer rears. As mentioned in the video, if you get too much angle you just step on the throttle to get out of the spin. To completely avoid it, you'll have to avoid letting off the throttle entirely when entering corners.

If they put a manual in the new Prelude. Honda has already made 3 hybrid manuals. CR-Z. First-gen Insight. Briefly the Civic Hybrid. A manual hybrid isn’t impossible. Honda can do it again with the new Prelude.

Those hp pads you got are more of a street pad, they have an aggressive drop off on stopping force after a relatively low temperature. I believe 600f? Look into G-LOC pads, Carbotech pads, maybe even endless pads. Compare and contrast the data on there pads and find which compound suits your driving.

You'd do much better with a good DOT4 fluid like Endless RF650 and stock pads vs OEM Fluid and any aftermarket pads

Forreal! The S2000 AND the Cayman both had seized idler pulleys, cayman was able to roadside repair, couldn’t get the right part for the s2k…STI blew a motor, another STI cracked a rotor, GR Corolla started sounding unhappy in 3rd gear so we parked it. It was carnage lol and this is all out of ~ 10 cars there

Don't forget Renault! The Megane RS even has four wheel steering (which to be fair the Prelude had years ago), it rotates a lot.

Wrong, all the Hyundai N cars rotate as good or better in the corners with very predictable lift off oversteer.

The factory brake pads use the Ferodo DS2500 compound which is slightly above the HAWK HP+ compound in fade resistance and friction. The factory pads are actually pretty good daily/track dual purpose pad. There's really not many better options without stepping to a dedicated track pad.

Try the Hawk hp+ out , they still work well on the street but have a lot more hot bite and stability. Downfalls are noise (I don’t really have any noise in mine) and dust, tons of dust

Hawks are meh. If Brembo makes the HP2000/HP2 for your car, you should definitely give those pads a try. VERY streetable but they have excellent track capacity.

Yeah HPS pads are street pads. It's a shame they stopped making them, but Hawk had the "Street Race" pads which were basically rounded off DTC-30s, they were amazing for dual duty.

How was the Type R with the Integra ADS module? I have been thinking about importing one to the UK as the UK roads are awful! I like the exhaust mod too, adds some more sound but not to much. I had been considering a £2000 Remus system prior to seeing this video

so...what is considered a good water and oil temperature? The manual does not specify what are the acceptable, "good" values.

On track you typically don’t want to see coolant above 220°F, oil temps can get up to 265°F maybe a bit higher and still be safe, depending on the oil you’re running and how pressure is looking.

Upgrade the rear motor mount if you want to get rid of wheel hop. Personally use the 27won 70a mount.

All the N drivers I know agree the CTR is great if not just better. Issue is the price mark ups and availability. Hyundai N series is incredible because you can actually get and afford them.
