I built a 2021 crf450rl with your big wheel kit and I have a GET ecu with wifi hooked to my phone to tune the fueling issues. Love my big wheel.

Looks badass....but if the frame was powdercoated a satin black it would take it to a whole 'nother level. IMO After seeing the black powdercoated frame on the white crf250, i think they should all be black now.

I was thinking it might need a remap or aftermarket ecu. That's the good thing about carbs, no need to spend $800 on a new ecu, just 2 bucks on a jet. I just got a YFZ 450R and now I'm looking at $800 for a Vortex before I can install a pipe. I was thinking about RP Race's system.

Go with RP and his throttle body + his map on the vortex. Huge difference actually makes it ridable

How do the exhaust spacers affect the space between the can and the number plate? Any melting or warping issues due to the heat being closer to the number plate?

The factory rubber bushings on the shroud keep it from touching the metal. Same as oem Some bikes vary but they all have that typically

@@BVCOFFROAD I've got a 92 CR500, I'm not sure if it has that rubber bushing. I haven't had the number plates off in a long time.

2 stroke silencers are alot smaller than the 4 strokes. Actually easier to adjust and move over

I think they addressed it in 23 with new fuel mapping. I thought I read that on-line.

as long as the frame is the same style then it should work the same. so yes you can order the X style (that has that same frame..) which is also similar to 17-20 crf450r and the 21 RS.. honda has gone wackamo with all of the L - RL - X - RX - RS - R... bla bla bla gets confusing...

Losing that much weight is a big deal ... That bike looks factory ... oh yeah a license plate relocation could shave a little weight Awesome you have a video person so you don't have to everything one handed !!! 🙃
