This is not a pathway. But an option when you get to Canada. How to become a Registered Architect in Canada being a Filipino. Hello connections don't usually work sa Canada. Get your credentials assessed when you come. Pareho tayo ng experience. Follow the video and you are set.

Basta andito ka na sa Canada wala naman problema na mag intern dito lalo na may sweldo ang mga Intern/Apprentice dito. Mahirap lang kung anong visa ang kukunin mo papunta dito. Hindi kase pathway ito kung di option once you get here. Tapos ako ng Bachelor's degeree tapos pina assess ko ok naman Architect na ako dito. Di na ako nag aral dito sa Canda

I beleive its under a company pero mas maigi tanungin mismo yung Governing Body sa province na pupuntahan ninyo. The requirements may differ slightly. She could fall under Foreign Trained Architects.

hello!. licensed architect here in the Philippines. I tried working remotely for US as a drafter but I want to go there too to work as an Architect. If I will get a student visa, ano po possible course na makukuha jan? or can I directly work nalang since licensed na ako dto?

Pag licensed sa Phil with a minimum x amount of years experience google mo yung foreign trained Architect para sa steps to be registered. But you need to be a student or immigrant to get hired. Not sure kung ano course magustuhan mo. Pero try mo tignan yung Kwantlen University, doon study uung kakilala ko. Good luck and hope to see you around.

Hello, looks like you will have to restart your apprenticeship/internship ulit dito pero tanong ka na rin sa mga governing bodies AAA, AIBC or OAA. Kase iba ang architecture, design and technology sa Canada Vs UAE. You must find a way to get here muna though kase hindi sya direct pathway. More power to you! Cheers!

Hi! I’d like to know if you still haven’t reached the 7 years of post licensure exp? In my situation, I just passed my Architectural Licensure Examination in the Philippines this January 2023. Any idea what process would I probably be taking once I arrive in Canada as an Immigrant?

hmm that is tough kase technically you do not have foreign experience yet although you passed the exam. As far as I remember falling under Foreign Trained Architect's category would require a minimum amount of work experience. You can reach out to governing bodies here in CAnada pag dating mo they can help you out. If you are planning on going to Ontario it's OAA and Alberta its AAA, British Columbia is AIBC. Pag nakagraduate ka naman ng Arch pwedeng way mo is mag Intern ka muna tapos mag exam. Ganyan sa entry ko gagawin mo. You just need to get here muna and make sure you can legally work sa Canada

I would finish sa Pinas kung ako yan kase mahal mag aral dito. Tapos hwag na mag exam punta na ng Canada apply ng Internship. Pero baka kase need mo to be a student para makuha ng Mama mo. Baka di ka na nya makuha kung di ka na dependent sa kanya at di na nagaaral. Tough one. Pagisipan mo mabuti at pag nagdecide ka dapat NO regrets and make the most of the situation.

He needs to get to Canada po muna and then get hired. Most employers they prefer yung may work visa na or they can legally work here na.

Hello, paraparaan lang yan. Noong ako pathway ko Caregiver tapos pinayagan ako maging immigrant. Yung mga ibang friends natin dito they are International Students tapos apply ng immigrant. Walang direct pathway for now kase na Architect hire from Pinas.

Wala po ako experience sa Pinas noong pumunta ako sa Canada. Pareho tayo na walang experience sa Pinas. Palagi naman pong may paraan basta nasa Canada ka na at may valid papers. Immigrant na ako na ng Canada nung nag apply ako. To be sure go to their website po.

@@mryoh7 Noon ako Caregiver ang pasok ko. I have a video about that too. Some people papasok sila dito immigrants yung iba naman student visa then they become immigrants later on. I do not have the current info dito. In my video I talked about me graduating tapos Canada agad. I had no work experience sa Pinas.

Wala akong Philippine experience noong nag apply ako bilang Intern/OJT Architect ako sa Canada. Yun nga lang parang Junior Architect ka nun until matapos ka at makapag exam at maging ganap na Architect

Yes internship counts as apprenticeship. After nung internship you can be elligible to take the exam. I took my internship and exams here.

Oo kase hindi rin naman maka enter dito pag walang visa. One way or another you need it po. Weather to work or to come. Visa applications are Student, Immigrant or Contract worker lang po. Pagkakaalam ko Visa muna bago Work at separate silanh inaapply wala silang connection sa isat isa

Hello Don, Dami mo na experience although hindi ka registered. Do you really want to register here in Canada? You can still get a job here you know kahit di ka Registered. Example ako ay Project Manager. I do not need to be registered to do this job. I am not sure kung ma count yung exp mo para mabawasan ang internship. I don't think it will pero double ckeck mo sa Association dito sa Canada.

@@Morena_Arch actually architect i started working po since 2016 as an apprentice architect right after ko po magraduate then I passed the board exam 2018. Basically me 7 yrs of work experience though yun nga lang, yung 2 yrs di po ako licensed. Hehe. Currently wala po ako work e, nagttry po magapply but 1 pa lang yung nagoffer ng interview.

Yung iba pathway nila Student, iba naman mga Immigrant or PR agad. Whatever it is you plan on doing, much better na Immigrant ka na bago maging Intern. Yes you can do Internship kahit Architect ka na sa Pinas unless you are eligible to be under Broadly Experienced Foreign Architect.

Hindi ko sure yung mga bagong pathways to Canada eh. Yung alam ko lang paano maging Architect pag andito ka na. Hanap ka kahit student Pathway or immigrant kung may pera naman.

Depende sa hilig mo yan at kung anong gusto mo pang matutunan. Ako personally I currently am a construction Project Manager. If you like staying in the office try mo Building Information Modelling. Hwag ka mag masters feeling ko amgnmahal nyan di mo naman kailangan. Payonko lang naman. Nasa iyo parin yan

Oo itawag or email mo lang sila Alberta to BC. I think kahit saang province itawag lang at sa US naman may listahan silang State na kasali sa agreement na pwede ang lisensya ng Canadian Architect

Hello, Wala pa. Pero malay mo ikaw na yun. Remember, noong ako nag apply kase. It felt like I was the only one doing it. Medyo marami kase qualifications ng BEFA kaya siguro hindi natry ng karamihan.
