26000 for SEL. I paid 24000 for limited what state you in? I agreed the handle very smooth only thing I find is that when getting on highway at speed 45 it not too strong it feels like if huge wind it blow the venue from side to side other than that the features interior is amazing. All safety features the AC the seated seat is amazing. Infotainment system is very nice.

Driving my 2022, Limited for 12 months now. Interesting! Why did you need a key? My 2022 is keyless! Is it, because mine is a Limited? I like the newer digital dashboard for 2023. I highly recommend the Limited over the SEL. Why the SEL is the only model that offers sunroof over the Limited is…crazy. However, I wanted the LED and extras, so went with Limited, then added a powered sunroof by a third party, via the dealer, for under $2K. Highly recommend everyone, go that route. In Normal mode, the car is sufficient for day-to-day driving. Not a rocket, but better than you’d think. Sport mode, really does boost performance. Snow mode is a great alternative to AWD, for the price. Switching from automatic to “manual” really enables you to lower the gears and navigate a blizzard. I used it in two, so far, no issues. Highly recommend this car. If they made a N-Line or N version, I’d buy it, in a heartbeat. I used this car, while renovating a home, had decent space with seats down, but not huge. In terms of cabin space, the headroom is more than the Kona and feels like a much larger car, when seated. I also choose the car, because of its boxy look, it’s like a Mini Cooper (amazed that people ask me, if it is). Actually, looks like a mini Palisade. lol

@@2010Etown works great on the highway. I do not have to put it in sport mode. Normal mode is great for 70 mph highway. I liked the Venue of the Kona. It had a nicer insturment cluster panel.

I like the 2021 venue ultimate edition I have. The multi port fuel injection is better than the direct injection.

I love this little suv. Drove a 2022 and it was great. This 2023 has a confusing dash now though. Too many numbers bouncing around lol. (The tach is distracting)

I love my 2022 Venue. Not a fan of digital clusters, honestly. Mine has the two analog meters and digital in the center. I like that a whole lot better. Is there anyway to customize it on the 2023 to show the tach and speedometer as analog displays, or switch which side displays the tach and which the speed?

No actually. I actually have the refreshed with this digital gauge cluster and you can’t make it have digital-analog displays. I don’t mind it, but I do prefer analog gauges like the pre refreshed ones. Only the centre screen between the speedometer and tachometer is adjustable.

Love my green apple 2024 Venue. Had a 2016 Hyundai Elantra. Like it and it had more pick up but the Venue has so many more features. Plus I need to slow down a little. I have a lead foot. Would like to live as long as I can.😅.

We’re looking at 3 different small suvs. This Venue, Honda HRV & the Chevy Encore. We have the Honda CR-V. It’s fine but we’ve realized it’s so long. Can barely get it in and out of our garage. Have heard of troubles with the Hyundai Venue transmission and headlights. We can’t see that well at night so we need really good headlights. Plus my mother & I are the only ones that would drive it. We are both 5’1”. I like to sit up high in a suv & need to see the front edge of the car. Miss my old 1997 Toyota RAV4. So nice and small and boxy but still sit up high. Looking up different small suvs on Consumer Reports but need real owners to give me their reviews. Planning to buy in the early spring if not sooner. Thanks so much!

Oh and we live in Ky so we can get ice & snow. Need AWD or 4WD. We just went through -30 wind chill and ice & snow for Xmas weekend. Yuck.

we are up in Canada, my daughter got the venue 2 months now. so far its perfect we had 2 major snow storm and no problem get around. the venue the the best value we can find in Canada for a small new suv.

I used Consumer Reports as well. I looked at the two they rated best crossover SUV: The Venue and the Kicks. I looked at both. I ended up with the Kicks because it was lower to the ground and easier to slide into than the Venue. (I had an injured leg when I looked at it.) I liked that the screen was set into the dash rather than just attached like an I Pad slapped on. The cargo area and leg room was more generous in the Kicks, and the Kicks was sportier, not boxy. I got the SV version. I also disliked that the Hyundai dealer added on all kinds of unnecessary stuff to up the price (for example, a first aid kit for $30.00, an insurance policy on key fobs, etc.). They said they would not sell it without costly mark ups over $1500.00). I looked at the Limited, which I now realize is comparable to the SR not SV Kicks. I had driven the Kicks as a rental car and liked it. They did not have the Limited prepped, so I could not take a test drive. I had to put down a deposit to drive the car the next week, so I moved on. I think both cars are comparable. Consumer Reports rates them the same. I just liked the room and style and ride (from what I've read about the Venue) better on the Kicks. I'm not advising you to get it. Both cars have had transmission problems. The Venue has exploding seat belts that are on recall. Some Venue cars have driver assist that has taken over and caused accidents per the NYTSA reports. Some Kicks models have a class action suit on the transmissions and some brake for no reason per NTSA. I have only had the car a few weeks. I have not had problems with it or with the rental I drove for two weeks. No inappropriate braking. The engine is powerful enough and relatively quiet as long as you don't gun it, which is bad for the transmission anyway. I know that I will have to change the oil every 3,000 miles and the transmission fluid and filter every 20,000-30,000 to keep the oil and trans fluid clean and free from metal bits. But Venue transmissions have failed too. I don't know what the future holds, and I am worried, but I needed a car, and I enjoy driving the Kicks and enjoy the looks of it. But I may have liked the Venue had they let me drive it. If you haven't purchased a car yet, I hope this info helps.

so much fuss over the cluster gauge.. i think it just highlighted the lack of novelty really - every seems the same as my work i30, which is not necessarily a bad thing. It would be good if you gave your size, you dont loook very tall and you seem a bit tight in the driver seat. overall i wish there were more cars like the venue

The fact that they put this digital display inside the venue makes the new Palisades feel cheap because a vehicle that cost $40-$50,000 has the same display as a cheapie little venue. My point is not that the venue should get nice displays like this, but that the Palisades should have gotten their own unique displays, or at least the full digital display and not just for the Limited and calligraphy trims.

I had a smart car lasted to 200k miles and had electrical/transmission problems that I couldn't fix..I got 3 years out of smart car that I got for $4500... I would drive this venue slow on the interstate 70-75mph max I wouldn't use it in the fast lane at 80-90mph if you change the oil every 6k miles with synthetic or synthetic blend I'm not sure what oil it takes and maintain it it should last 150-200k miles not sure if it'll last more than 200k it's not a Honda or Toyota

How is Venue holding up for everyone? Any problem? I just recently purchased one, and feels scary when going on highway feels like not strong or tough enough to stand up against all the big cars besides me.

LoL Ive driven a smart car at least 50k of the 150k miles I drove with it was on the highway 70-80 mph it was fine...I would definitely drive this on the freeway just don't drive it too fast stay about 70-75 mph in the slow lane to keep it's engine from breaking down

Same experience for me. Driving in the highway feels scary because you can feel the car shaking, and def feels not strong enough against bigger cars…

Not only that, I just feel the acceleration is not enough power, for example when i am on 4 lanes and i want to change lane, knowing the car behind me through rear view mirror is blasting at me i cannot accelerate fast enough. Highway not good, but local driving it's a blast. It's a good little car that helps me do everything grocery shopping school anything. @@marsha3283

Kia Soul! You can usually get it for around the same price as Venue. The Soul has more cargo space and rear leg room.

NM is NOT measured the same as lbf torque. So to convert it for you it has 153 NM.

Yeah. Good point. Why buy an efficient and nice vehicle to save money to pay off school loans, start an emergency savings account, or maybe use the extra money saved by a less expensive car payment to max out your first couple years of a retirement fund that will grow for decades? Oh, and who would want lower cost car insurance premiums from having a less expensive car? Yup. Better to start your adult life throwing your precious cash into an expensive depreciating asset. Seriously? 🙄
