I get you on the price point but this suv and the one you have serve totally different purposes. The renegade trail hawk that you showed is meant to go off road into some pretty difficult terrain. The same can’t be said for your escape titanium so if your into going off the beaten path the renegade is gonna give you far more value and capability.

$16.5K x 2.5 = $38.9K The $16.5K is what I paid for my brand new 2017 Renegade in Dec. 2017. The 2.5 mulitplier means that I could have bought 2-1/2 Regegades back then for the $38.9K price of one now. Granted, compared to the TRAIL HAWK in the video, mine is only a SPORT, but it with the lighter 4x2 setup and the 6speed manual/1.4 turbo engine combo, it's a bunch more fun to drive on the road. Plus, mine is very well-equipped and still runs like a top with 100K miles on it. Have only replaced the stablilizer links thus far and that was fairly inexpensive. On the flipside, with the inventory so high right now, i suspect you could get a Renegade waaay below sticker price just like I did. For what I paid, I couldn't be happier.

When I heard the word "Fiat," that's all I needed to hear. Fiat left the US years ago because of a poor reputation for quality. Reminds me of the French Renault story.
