I would love to see a video dedicated to how to style pearls. I have some, but haven't been wearing them. Watches have been a part of my life for the last 40 years. Not only do they help you keep time, but I think they add a great dimension to one's outfit. Great video, Audrey.

That’s so true. I have inherited some strings of pearls but I feel they’re a bit dated. I’d love to take them to a designer to see what they could come up with. Then I’d probably feel more confident to wear them.

Pearls can be worn with anything! They really aren’t dated either as they go with Everything and I mean everything. I wear them everyday and have worn them with everything from a rugby shirt and jeans to a ball gown. Many years ago I received a lovely compliment from a man when I wore a strand of pearls with a rugby shirt, he really liked the combination and thought it was very feminine. I have had pearls since I was born,(my grandmother started a strand for me), and I have collected them all my life, and I am almost 70. I have gem quality, South Sea, Tahitian, Baroque and many other styles, quality and color. Necklaces, strands, earrings, bracelets, pins, brooches and rings. One of the great things about pearls, real pearls, is you can find them at very affordable price points. There are some designers out there doing beautiful things with baroque pearls and other shapes too. The world is your oyster when it comes to pearls these days!😊

I own a fair amount of pearl jewelry but tend to forget about them or hesitate to wear as I’m afraid it will seem too “stuffy”. But this video has inspired me to get it back out and start wearing it more! Also have some vintage brooches that I haven’t worn in years - getting those out as well! As a pearl jeweler and specialist, I absolutely love to see what you say on pearl trends. I agree with you the pearls happening these days are more of a twist and more chic style combined with gold metals, graduated sizes, and more keshi pearls are in the picture. But also I see more and more demand on natural purple freshwater colour and golden south sea pearls.❤ Awesome video Audrey

Brooches are fantastic! They're maybe a bit more unexpected than rings or necklaces which means they add more personality. I love going through my collection and deciding what brooch to add to my outfit - I've not yet tried wearing more than one!

I'm a kid of the 80's and I remember all the oversized statement pins...many of them were found in my mother's jewelry box. Wish I had a few of them now that she's past on! I think the huge chunky chains and pearls in general are classic if you pair them with your own personal style. I like pearls with my leather jacket and chains with a lady-like dress, lol...that's the 80's new waver coming out in me.

Just yesterday I wore my pearls. I haven’t worn them in a long time. Sometimes I feel like they’re so precious that I need to wait for a special occasion. My dad bought them for my grandmother in Japan in the 1950’s. Maybe 1953? Yesterday I thought, I really should wear them more often, they are just so beautiful. 😍😍. Great video. 🥰

What a lovely treat this video was-as are all of your videos-but this one in particular spoke to me in a beautifully nostalgic sort of way.❤️ Pearls are my favorite thing to wear! They have such a soft, velvety luster to them and so simplistically feminine. Brooches remind me of my mom who always adorns her wool coats with their sparkle, and my great aunt, who was an avid antique collector, owned many exquisite brooches from the 1920’s to the ‘60’s. Thank you for creating so much beauty and quality in your content.🥰

I’m glad you brought up lab diamonds. After watching “Blood Diamond” I swore I would never buy another diamond. I stayed true to that until last year when I did buy one as part of a remodel of my nanna’s engagement ring. However, I researched the Australian company and their practices and know that it’s a conflict free company (their only mine is in Australia) and that my diamond is certified and numbered.

Hi Audrey, thanks for yet another informative video. I do love watches and I have several to style an outfit ! It’s so much easier to glance down to look at the time then having to pull out a phone. I thought it’s also more polite because who you were with will wonder if you’re glancing at messages rather than paying attention to the conversation! Also, I have a watch wardrobe and prefer a beautiful (vs Apple-type functional) classic watch so I’d like to hear more about this topic as well. So glad silver colored jewelry is piping back up. Not a gold person so it’s nice to have some wider choices available. Also love the Elsa Peretti cuff. It’s a beautiful modern design still even though it’s over 40 years old.

I love mixing or layering gold and silver jewelry. I’m seeing large brooches worn on trucker (jean) jackets. I developed a trick for wearing brooches that don’t have safety clasps. Slide a small earring back on the pin, if the pin comes loose, it will not fall from your clothing.

I think chunky jewelry is on trend because they pop when doing zoom videos. I can be a hot mess right before a meeting but take 15 minutes to put on jewelry and blush and everything looks great. Love your outfit in this video btw!

I love stacking dainty 14k precious gem rings. Since I wear them daily, I find that the prong set gem stones get loosened and fall out. Actually prong set gem stones have greater risk of falling out (had a solitaire diamond fallen out of its seat). Now I tend to buy bezel set dainty rings and I take off my rings when I do my daily swim.

My mom is not a watch person at all but I bought her a Cartier last year anyway. She's been wearing it practically nonstop she absolutely loves it. I think watches just elevate your whole outfit and depending on the watch style, can make you look more elegant, sporty, etc

Great topic Audrey! With my wardrobe in good shape I’m focusing on jewelry. I am drawn to bracelet and ring stacks. They seem to be in right now, but are they timeless? I would love future information about this as well as watches. I received a Cartier Ballon bleu for Christmas- I had not wanted a watch but I love it so much! I am surprised that you don’t wear a watch, I think a classic timepiece would fit your style beautifully. Please keep the jewelry content coming… I love your style and really appreciate your opinions!
