I ride the '21 KX 450, 60+ hrs, 5'10", 170lb, slower A-level rider, brutal east coast: The rear brake, chain guides/rollers, muffler have not been an issue. Once you install the single 5.1 fork spring ($75 factory connection/only mod I've done.), it handles excellent as mentioned & very stable. (Turns better than the YZ.) The lower hp is fine as it's still 450 power. Very usable, plenty fast. My fork guard did crack lol. Random bolts along the chassis do come loose, haven't stripped any though. The bars do move with any little tip-over. SMH I've ridden the 22 KTM, YZ and CRF. So far still like the KX best. Just my 2 cents. 👍

I have 145hrs on my 21 450 as well, not a single issue with any parts, I have 5.3 in the front and 6.2 in the rear, I’m 100kg , The engine is soooooooo smooth, I can lug around in 3rd, it can seat Bounce me over a 80 foot step up, or cruise around chasing my son on his 21 250.

I have a 21 kx450 and I'm really not sure how much better a chassis could get. I did put pegs in lower position and it makes a pretty large difference! Love it, they will stay there. Put a .53 in one fork leg.... still may get a revalve, they can be better

Yet with less power, and all the other complaints you guys had, it still smoked all the Austrian bikes, in bot SX and MX!......Team Green Always!

@@frankbirger8278 We bought our son a 2022 KX85 and he loves it, most of his buddies have Austrian bikes and man a lot of stuff seems to go wrong with them, and our boy started last year on a special edition real 2009 (Mosnter Edition) KX65 and was is Bullet Proof! 104 hours all stock before any work on it, we put a Wrench rabbit complete build in it then and it now has 150 hours and still bullet proof.

Sadly you can’t compare what the Factory teams race to what we buy at the dealership. Those bikes are nowhere near what we buy and the riders on them are on a whole nother level. It’s still a great bike and great to pull for your team but not comparable. I have a 2021 KX 450 so I am not knocking this bike at all

Found a new one for 25% off. Was considering a KLX 300 SM, but building a SM with the 450 would be sumpin! I recently learned that the perfect number of motorcycles is one more than you already own!

just bought (2) 2023 KX450's and all I can say is WOW. I'm 6'4 240lbs and the grunt and low end power is perfect. i'm mostly impressed how usable the power is...

I'd take usable horsepower over peak horsepower any day. Good bike but the KX450SR is worth the extra money!

Good insight into the 2019-2023 Kawi's - Thanks MXA However, at 11:14 - Didn't realize that Glen Helen is located in Cross-Thread, USA! With over 200 hours between a 2019, 2020, and 2022, I've never had an issue...Did lose a front radiator shroud bolt, but that was all on me. Take care of your bikes and they'll take care of you. Keep up the good work and enjoy those #TeamGreen machines

i had a 2012 kxf 450 first model with 3 couplers this 2023 bike 11 years later is the same than the old 2012!!same handlebar, suspension,brakes,foodpegs

Only 16 hours on my kx450x and hope I don't experience all the breaking and failures you talk about. My kx250x has 60 hours and not a single thing has broken, but I am not riding MX but offroad.

KX always had great engines, they just surround it by cheap components.

Pretty sure I know the answer but I’m looking to buy a dirt bike and was looking at the 300r, but my issue is, I’m 5’10 and 250 and I seen a video with a guy similar in body type and the bike was snagging a lot. Fast forward a few weeks and now I’ve found the 450 at a very attractive price and I’m considering buying it. All that being said, I want to trail ride and I’m an amateur. Any advice input would be appreciated

rear brake disks 250mm and 240mm its replaces bolt on? or need change calliper? i have spare back wheel, but i dont have rear brake disc. i want to buy it, but dont know which one to choos, stock 250mm or 240mm. Thanks

No durability problems, 145hrs on my 21 and not single problem, PC slip on and your good to go, it didn’t get bike of the year for 3 years for no reason

Kx frame geometry makes it handle a lot better then the yz. Power is yz hands down but handling is a more desirable thing

@@hondaman3317 as someone that have both the 21 kx450 and 22 kx250, I have to say that handling isnt the strong point of the kawasaki. The older generation chassi used to be much better

Hey listen here. You fellers sure seem to find lots of problems with this Kawasaki. You knuckleheads strip, break, and bust every dang thing you lay your hands on when it comes to green. Starting to think you either do it on purpose, or make all this crap up. As for me, I never stripped a dang thing. Never broke nothin, never busted nothin, and nothin ever fell off. Heck I never even changed the oil!! Kawasaki makes a dang good bike!! Wish I had one.

They were really nervous and careful how they looked at the camera during this part of the 'coverage' of the event, like cowards, was my impression, like they might get heat if they laughed at the incredibly laughable stupidity. 60 million of us gas up every week, no one wears any kind of protection, been that way for 100 years. Would we benefit, from complying with the moronic edict, I say no way, not in any way.
