After about 1200 miles, it was time to change out the factory oil for Kawasaki Full Synthetic Oil and a new filter. To me, all vehicles just feel and run better after a fresh oil change. I also purchased a Kawasaki Oil Change Kit that came with 5 quarts of oil, a filter, and two new crush-washer seals.
I purchased an oil drain pan, low profile, made for motorcycles, and this made the job easy, clean, and well organized.
