Overall which car felt best to you?

@@skeed.5768 For the dynamics/acceleration aspect, the KIA. For interior build quality and overall feel, the Audi. But these choices are made with a small margin over the other variants, and with some objective and subjective factors (trim level, personal preference, less memories for the cars tested a longer time back, etc.). I could not say there's a clear winner between the 3.

Fair question! Unfortunately, a difficult one for me to answer, the main reason being that it's been half a year since i drove the i30, so the impression the KIA gave me is a lot fresher in my mind, which could give me bias towards it. I remember the day i drove the Hyundai was gloomy and kinda wet so i didn't push it around corners. Interior quality wise i'd say there's little to no difference between them. From the dynamics pov i think i just might give it to the KIA, probably because it's a few dozens of kilos lighter.

Is the Gt having a higher speced engine that has 207hp instead of 160?

@@davide6929 I cannot speak by experience but 7,4sec sounds faster than 160hp should get you. After some short researches, 7,4sec is the time that Kia advertises for the GT 1.6 T-GDI DCT with 204 horsepower which is also confirmed by some independant tests. So I think, you measuring is off, or you really mistake your 160HP engine for the 204HP one. I dunno. Anyway, I hope you have fun with your car.

@@x0x0xxxx68 I can guarantee that I have the 160hp, and I agree that my time isn't precise, it's too quick for my engine. Anyway it's pretty funny to drive, it's quick enough :) On KZfaq I have seen people doing 7.9s with the 1.5L, no one has done better

Hi, thanks for your comment! First of all, i think that the GT Line is just a superior trim level, it does not come with higher power level. The official figures for this 1.5 engine are 8.5, 8.6 sec to 100. Finally, just using common sense, i think 160hp are hardly enough to get you under 8 sec, especially if the gearbox does not allow you to build boost by breaking.

@@AcceleratingCars Nu ma intereseaza timpii pentru o masina anume, imi place doar sa fac comparatii si sa raman surprins de 'vecinii' unor masini din clasament. Nu am mai vazut pana acum un spreadsheet cu masini normale si reprize asa scurte, d-aia mi s-ar parea interesat de analizat tot. @@AcceleratingCars Da, făceam comparația cu mașina mea care are 184 cp și 1500 kg. Accelerația la a mea pana la 100 e cam cu aproape o secundă mai rapida, dar reprizele sunt mult mai apropiate.

@@Seba03111976 Pai probabil ca masina ta iti permite sa faci brake boost sau are o forma de launch control si astfel are startul (0-60) mai bun. 184cp la 1.5 tone, ce ar putea fi...? 🤔 Honda Civic? 😀
