Not nearly as good in desert compared to the 22 xc-f I bought the xc-w for the woods. Just took it out there to get break in oil change done. That new xc line 2T and 4t is a ton stiffer and the air fork and linkage are pretty darn incredible for fast desert riding.

@@SWFlowseeker good to hear thats gonna be my next bike find is a mix sand runner and i used a older 250xc 2T before and it worked great, it just got worn out so i sold it. My new 22 300XC-W erzbergrodeo is great in the woods suspension wise but i haven't even tried it on the sand yet just because it was too expensive 🫠 and don't want that hard wear on it. Thinking 18-21 350xcf or a newer xc.

@@SWFlowseeker that's interesting i was looking at the 23 TBI but i never heard anything definitive overall better. I would love to try one at least now though. I like the idea of back to mixing gas and not relying on a injection tank as well. Appricate it
